and BOG reservation at 12:15. Will this be possible? Is there a bus that goes from AK to MK?

There is a bus from AK to MK, but I don't think you'd make it from Kali to BOG in that timeframe.

Figure at least 10 minutes to board and ride. Then you'd walk all the way out of AK to the bus terminal (10 minutes, maybe more or less). If you have to wait for a bus that could take 20 minutes to arrive, then the drive time to MK, and then you have to go through security and all the way across MK to the reservation.

That's not nearly enough time to get between Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom. There are buses between the parks in the same place where you can catch busses to the resorts, but you have to walk out of Animal Kingdom after a 5 minute ride, estimate 10 minutes to get to the bus stand, so that's 15 minutes right there. Then you have to wait for a bus (which could take another 20 minutes), then get on the bus and ride over to Magic Kingdom (another 20-25 minutes), so you're already at a conservative 35 minutes and a more likely 60 minutes, and then you have to wait in the bag check line, get through the gates (another 10-15 minutes), and finally walk all the way back to BOG (add another ten minutes). Disney Website always recommends leaving 90 minutes at least to get to any place you want to go. My estimate on the lowest side is 55 minutes and on the highest is 85. Also you'll be wet doing all of this.

We have our own car, so I have no clue about WDW buses. However, that aside it would be tight at best. Get to Kali at 11:15am. By time you go through the entrance, get on the boat, ride, get off it's probably 11:25 to 11:30, presuming you have a FP+ and you get right on. Then by time you walk out of AK, it's probably 11:40am. That'll leave you 25 minutes to get transportation, get to MK, through security, into the park and to BOG.

Oh, and you may or may not be drenched. :D

Yeah, the only way you'd make it is if the parks were within walking distance to each other. Even if you got on Kali before your actual FP+ time and got right on, that's just not enough travel time from the parks. If you could move BOG later an hour or move Kali up an hour, then you'd be in better shape.

Thanks everyone I just wasn’t sure. I think I will just have to cancel my BOG reservation. I just can’t find another one for the whole week we are there. Do they take walk ups?

Why don't you move Kali River Rapids earlier? I can't imagine it's hard to score a FP for a water ride that many people skip when going to AK?

They do not take walk-ups. Keep checking EVERY day up through your last day there. People change their plans all the time and especially the night/day before when the cancellation fee kicks in for no-shows.

I have 2 different fast passes already one for the Avatar one and one for Dinosaur. So I can’t move it earlier. They won’t let me book in two different parks so I can’t even try to find one to replace River rapids in Magic Kingdom.

Maybe tap your bands for Dinosaur when you're walking in to the ride, try moving Kali as close to that time frame as possible. That maneuver has worked for me several times. If there's space between Dinosaur and FOP, try the same deal. If you can move each one up by 15 minutes or more, you might be more comfortable with making it to BOG.

The line for Kali shouldn't be that long if you go early. That attraction normally has a very bell curve shaped wait time. Early in the morning it's low, then it rises pretty quick and is long until mid-late afternoon. Then it drops as fast as it rose and is a walk on ride from late afternoon to closing.

I believe if you just make the 2 FPs, once you tap into Dinosaur, you should be able to make your 3rd FP at MK.

BOG lunch was available the night before on every night of our trip. Always check the night before!

No walk ups at BoG
If eating there is a priority, I'd skip KRR. No way would I want to do all of that moving around soaking wet either.
I wouldn't even try to Uber it, I tried getting an Uber on Saturday and it took almost 20 minutes for one to show up.

Good luck!

You can wind up looking like you fell into a swimming pool after riding Kali. It might not be a good time to go straight to a bus for MK. Sitting on an air-conditioned Disney bus soaking wet is not the greatest- we've done it. An uber driver probably would not appreciate finding soaking wet passengers waiting either. Definitely not enough time to make it anyway.

But-- I agree with the other posters. Unless it is a really hot day or a really crowded day, I bet Kali won't have too much of a line in the morning if you really want to ride it-- it usually really picks up and gets really long in the afternoon once the heat sets in. I would either 1. keep your 3 FP+, but then right after you scan your 2nd one in try to move Kali up or get something different that kicks in sooner 2. just go ahead and cancel Kali now and then right after you scan your 2nd FP+ at AK, start looking for a FP at MK. You can book 2 FPs only and then right after you scan the 2nd one in book in a different park. You can also book in the other park from AK- you just can't have 2 parks on the same day booked at once. MK is usually the easiest park to get decent FPs in for the same day because there are so many attractions there.

Do you plan to spend the rest of the day at MK, or are you going back to AK? There is also the third option which would be to Keep your 3 FP+, and then right after you scan your 2nd one in, modify your Kali to anything available that kicks in immediately whether you want to do it or not- go scan there so you have used 3, and then try to get another tier 1- or book anything else and then start using the refresh to try to get a tier one. Depending on how big your party is- we have had a lot of success with refreshing. If you can't pull another tier one that kicks in before you need to leave AK, then if you are going back to AK, book something for much later, and then you have a whole bus ride to MK and back to play with refresh and see if you can get a Tier 1 to pop up for a time you can be there.

AK is about 7 miles from MK- so hopping between them can take quite a while. We have done it several times andit usually is at least an hour from the time you are walking out of one park until you are walking into the other.
