Guess they will be renovating it!

Looked nice enough when we were there! IMO, pool was "smallish" for what looked like a large resort. When we were at Aulani end of May, Marriott did not look that crowded...Probably looking to boost occupancy!

My guess is that new resort will have an expanded type pool to attract some families...who knows, maybe even a lazy river type of pool!

Interesting... We stayed at the JW just as construction of Aulani was beginning. It was/is a lovely resort.

Interesting. It looked lovely and has some great views looking north, but not even close to Aulanis grandeur. The JW was the setting of a Hawaii 5 0 episode and you could see Aulani construction in the background.
