Yeah, but you can tell when they do. If someone uses auto-tune live, they'll never miss a note, never be even slightly off key or sound out of breath. If they are really singing, they will do at LEAST one of the above.

I can't say if he does use auto-tune or doesn't use it. I've never heard him sing live and I don't count people's videos on youtube as good assessments of what someone sounds like live. They're never in a good enough quality to accurately judge what someone sounds like singing.

I'm talking about older rock stars. Drugs and smoking fry your vocal cords. They would use autotune.

The company and producers most definitely have a say in the music. The artist can refuse but the producers and company can and will tell them what kind of song they want.

Honestly, I have no idea why you are so hung up on this kid. Instead of just stating your opinion and leaving it at that, you felt the need to insult him and then argue with everyone trying to change their minds. EDIT: When I wrote this I was in a very bad mood (thats what it is like when you find out you will eventually have to have a heart transplant but dont know when - and then on top of that waiting for first Disney holiday) just change the its to he's and looking back I was out of line but still dont like Justin Bieber

p.s.s: My views are from a music point of view, I dont like his music, he's not a great singer and I think the attention he gets is OTT for example a girl crying beacause he touched her. Plus (just like hannah montana and Jonas brothers) releasing a so called "movie" of your concert is an insult to movies and cinema!

3. The Hannah Montana and Jonas Brothers concert movie were marketed as a semi-replacement if you couldn't get tickets. And they worked pretty well for that, as the JB concert film was pretty close to the actual show. I can't speak for the HM film, as I couldn't get tickets to that concert and that was the whole reason I went to see the 3D film. They aren't an "insult to movies and cinema" It's a documentary if anything.

Sorry i realise i was out of line, sometimes i start to rant. Especially after I've just been writhing an english essay that had be ranty.

About the movies - I study Media and Film at A-Level and I see movies and television from a different perspective - I over analyse films and what is happening (not just from an audience perspective but from a producer, director,critic etc... and I have to compare these features with those from other films) because that is what I have to do for my exams.

...when you said "all his fans are young" WRONG. I'm 15, not 12. I know plenty of older girls who are his fans too. When you said he doesn't use any instruments, proved you wrong there too. He plays the guitar, piano, and drums. Let's not play dumb, dude.

Really you're not taking this anywhere. Haters just make JB more popular, if you really don't like him then stop talking about him, stop ranting about him, just forget and ignore him! Clearly, you must enjoy talking about him, otherwise you would've stopped earlier.
