Just wondering if anyone has called to see if they have a PIN code attached to their

I just tried using the number that you had listed 800-933-3975 and it is not working...it said that you had to call the regular 407 disney number :confused3

No - that number is an OLD number for the Disney Club which isn't around anymore. Sorry if you misunderstood me. If you are looking for a 1-800 number - you can try the Disney Travel Company at (800) 828-0228. But keep in mind that they specialize in Travel Packages - they CAN handle room only reservations and are located in the same place as CRO - but CRO specializes in Room Only reservations. And they both have different requirements at booking. CRO requires 1st nights deposit and DTC requires $200.00 deposit in addition to $50.00 fee incurred if your reservation is changed or cancelled within 21 days of arrival. I prefer CRO.

Let me tell you, the whole "Pin Code" thing is a mysterious creature. I have tried everything I could think of to receive email/postcards from Disney and nothing works! I have added them to my list of contacts, checked spam filters, etc. It drives me crazy that I have registered for every newsletter, company offers, "family" of company offers...you name it -- and I am still anonymous (and bitter LOL)!!!

Ahh, I would love to get another pin code! Last January I got a postcard in the mail and had no idea how valuable it was til I read about it on the DIS. Well, we didn't think a WDW trip was anywhere in our future, so I threw the postcard out!! Later we found out how much we'd save with the pin code along with the fact that our youngest was free at the tim, and decided to go ahead and do it. Thanks to the DIS, I discovered I could call and still get the rate and we surprised the kids with our very first trip to WDW. Thanks DISboards :) We're hooked now!!!

Now if only I could get another pin code for next year...

PIN codes typically are provided to demographic groups who would tend to visit less in the absence of the PIN codes.

My Aunt lives in a huge house in Lexington.I grew up in Burlington so I know you must be familiar w/ Lexington. She can easily afford the $$$ @ Disney but she had a pin code for January. I was all excited because I was the one to call and make her ressies for her. I was so excited when they volunteered the info that I screamed. :rotfl2:

Yup, affordability often has little to do with whether folks would or wouldn't visit without a discount.

When my husband called to book our Dec 06 trip he was told about a pin code attached to an old email address that we haven't used in a couple of years.....so we would have never received the discounted offer. Unfortunately the discount had to be used by the end of May so after years of wondering why I wasn't "special" :rotfl2: enough to receive one of the elusive "pin codes" I was a tad disappointed I finally had one I couldn't even use.
