Just when you thought you've seen all the MAGIC! **See Page 95 for PTR!!!!**

What a proud big sister! That's exactly the way I was when my brother was born! I was 5, and I felt so cool to be able to help my mom! Love the pictures, he's such a cutie! Can't wait for more!

After our photo shoot, we had some time before we had to be in line for Fantasmic! We didn't feel like crossing the park again so we looked for the closest ride.... which just happened to be the Great Movie Ride. We have never been on the GMR before. What do you think girls?

We got into our car and were off to the movies.

It was an OK ride but the kids didn't like the gunfire at the beginning. They did like seeing the movies they knew but most of it was over their heads. I'm glad we rode it but it wasn't Melody's or my favorite.

It was time to head over to get in line for F! We stopped to get Juliana a little something for dinner, but I didn't even get anything. I was still full from lunch. We did stop at this fine establishment:

for some sweets. This place is full of them!

I think we ended up with chocolate covered rice-krispy treats and chocolate covered marshmallows.

Obligatory ToT shot.

We got in line and waited to be let up the back way to F! I thought we would have better seating considering we basically paid for a seat. We were all the way on the right side of the theatre but the seats weren't horrible. We ate some snacks while we waited for the show to start and before long it was dark and the music started.

I don't think the kids moved and inch during the show... they all loved it! Melody & I did too- this was our first time seeing it. Hard to believe huh? We were always worried it would be too intense for Juliana when she was younger. Now that we have seen it, I'm sure she would of been fine with it.

There was a MAD exodus to the busses so we took our time, hit the bathrooms and did a little browsing in the stores. Here were a few shirts I liked-

I should of bought the 'Kickin' it old school' shirt for myself but I decided not to. It was getting late so we walked toward the POP bus. The line wasn't too long but we did have to wait for a couple of busses to come before we made it on one.

Back at POP we got Juliana to bed and Bill gave me a call to see it I wanted to grab a beer. I said sure- I needed to go out anyway. I had to buy Juliana a birthday card. Before we left POP I checked in the gift shop- no card. No big deal I would find one on the boardwalk.

On the way to the boardwalk, we stopped at Hess to look for a card. Unfortunately, they didn't have any.

IMAG0439.jpg

I checked in the Boardwalk for a card.. no dice. Took a walk on the boardwalk and found the general store. Perfect spot to find a card. NOT!! Come to find out, you can't buy a birthday card on property-FYI.

We did end up here for a drink and an appetizer.

We stayed for about an hour then called it a night. I knew the next day would be long and filled with excitement. It was going to be Juliana's birthday!

Up next: The princess' birthday!

My 5 year old hated the GMR. The gunfire in the beginning just ruined it for him.

We haven't done Fantasmic yet because all the reviews I have read say it is scary and loud. Glad to hear Juliana loved it though.

You definitely should have bought the kickin it old school shirt, well there is always next time.

I never knew that about birthday cards on property, good to know though.

Can't wait to hear about the birthday day!

Those pictures of Juliana and Christopher are so sweet! :goodvibes

You'd never been on GMR before???? I mean, it's not the most amazing ride ever, but you do have to go on it at least once. It's like a Disney obligation, like it or not (like the Carousel of Progress )!

I've never understood that either. You'd think they'd put those seats closer to the center, but like you said, still not a bad seat. Any seat there has a good view.

Come to find out, you can't buy a birthday card on property-FYI.
That is just odd... I can't understand why they wouldn't have them?:confused3 I mean it is Disney... you'd think they'd be selling Birthday cards with Mickey Mouse and princesses on them for about a 500% premium or something.:lmao:

MY DH bought this shirt for himself! He has worn it Djing for a couple day parties:laughing:
He also got a black t-shirt with a blue Mickey wearing headphones, scratch mixing.

Weird that your can't get a card. You think that would be a money maker?!

Yay! And update.

You go girl...uh, I mean guy!

I'm not a big fan of movie ride either. It's Ok, but not one I have to do. But then I'm not a big fan of DHS either.

Add me to the list of never seem Fantasmatic! We did plan on going once but we were traveling with my family ...and well... let's just say we needed a break from then. So, on the way to DHS we ditched them and went to play Fantasia mini golf instead :lmao: Blamed it on Jack. Said he was worried about it being to dark( he was 4 at the time) and really wanted to play mini golf instead. :lmao: Bad I know, but fun:rolleyes1

Those treats look yummy! I have a weakness for caramel apples. I might have to grab one of those and a cookie too. :thumbsup2

Hope you all are adjusting to life as a family of 4. Your kids are beautiful and Ana looks like such a great big sis.

Hooray for big sister pictures! I'm glad that Juliana is being helpful to Mel. With her sweet disposition, she will take the plus one in stride. I know you and Mel will guide her in the right direction.

Very nice Fantasmic! pictures! I was astounded that you've never seen it before! I understand why though. Sometimes you just have to test the waters with kids, right? I'm slowly learning that. It's not easy for me.:rolleyes1

I cannot for the life of me get why birthday cards are not sold at WDW?:confused3 You would think it would be a big seller.

Thanks for taking some time to update, I know how precious time is right now for you.:goodvibes

Look at those cute girls waiting to get into the Great Movie Ride. :goodvibes I liked it when it first opened, but it could use a major overhaul (as can a lot of stuff at the Studios).

I cannot believe that you have never seen Fantasmic! It is my second favorite show right after Wishes (I like it much better than Illimunations).

Glad you had a free minute for an update.

Now, I've seen updates with baby pictures on FB, but I think people here would like to see them too. :)

I think we need an "after" picture to compare. :rotfl2:

You're being very polite about this. ;)

I was still full from lunch. We did stop at this fine establishment:

You had Beverly for dinner?!

There was a MAD exodus to the busses so we took our time, hit the bathrooms and did a little browsing in the stores.

I like Fantasmic ok, but I still don't think it's worth braving the wait or the crowds.

I checked in the Boardwalk for a card.. no dice. Took a walk on the boardwalk and found the general store. Perfect spot to find a card. NOT!! Come to find out, you can't buy a birthday card on property-FYI.

Wow. I'm sure Guest Services can wrassle one up for you for about $40 or so. :rotfl:

I am in shock they don't sell birthday cards in Disney! Sounds like a great DHS day! Hope you and the family are getting in some rest with baby Christopher settling into the house!

Nice pictures of the new guy and big sister!

Shocker upon shocker in this update:

- You'd never been on GMR before. (okay, that's not a real shocker)
- First time seeing Fantasmic. (I was surprised at that)
- You didn't buy the "Kicking it old school" shirt. (when I saw that I thought "Oh, you bought that for sure")
- Birthday cards can't be found at Disney. (Puzzling!)

Great update, you totally should have got that shirt!! We have also not seen Fantasmic-I am leary of the crowds....Can;t wait to read about the bday!!

Juliana looks very proud with Christopher. it might take a little time, but she'll adjust to having to share the attention, and will be so happy to have a friend for life.
we held on F! until this trip too. I think James handled it better than Maya.

:cheer2: Congratulations on the birth of Christopher :cheer2: Big sis looks happen to have him around. Children are such a blessing.....I wonder why I never had more.......Just came to me.......the labor pains. :scared1:

For some reason......I love the movie ride!! :confused3

I am glad you told me about NO birthday cards at Disney:scared1: !!Now I know for sure we have to get cards before we leave !!I had sorta planned on a Disney one , so your timing is perfect !!!:cloud9:
Kyle LOVES the GMR , I think we rode it 5 times !!!
The family will be seeing Fantasmic for the first time this year !! Also Wishes and MSEP . We always headed back early as Kyle pooped out !! Now he is much more of a nightowl sooooo we think he'll enjoy all the night time activities !!BUT will he get up in the morning:confused3

This is why I love the Disd !!! Always learning something new !!See you even surprised Glenn!!:rotfl2:

:welcome: Baby Christopher and Congratulations to Tim, Mel and sweet Juliana princess: on the new addition to the family!party:

Sorry I haven't had a chance to come by before now and personally tell you all I am so happy for you! I was so grateful Kathy kept me updated while we were on our trip, and I'm sure she passed along my well wishes for me, but I had to stop by and do it "in person." Can't wait to keep up with Baby Christopher as he continues to grow, and have you take us along for the ride when he finally makes his first trip to Disney!!!

Tim, Mel and Baby Christopher are on their way home. I don't think Tim will mind that I posted this since all of you love him and his family. Here is Baby Christopher as they got ready to leave the hospital:

Ah, That's Nice!!! What an absolutely beautiful little boy and so glad you already got to take him home!

Juliana is going to be such a great help, and such a wonderful BIG SISTER!!!

WAY TO GO, JULIANA!!!

:flower1: :dance3: :cheer2: :jumping1: :Pinkbounc :rainbow: :mickeyjum :butterfly

Loving your trip report so far. Makes me remember when my Princess was younger and seeing it thru her eyes. Now we have 2 more Princess so let the Memories begin w/ them too!!!

I can't wait to see if you go that pic on the castle. During our trip in Feb/March (checked out of Pop on 3/6) we were at DTD and my 2 year old was dancing outside of WoD. She had 15 CM's outside watching her and on lady in an "offical" suit was recording her. I just knew she was probably going to be on the castle. But we didn't have our park tickets yet. I will NEVER stop wondering what if... I sure hope you got it. And how great that you actually saw it on the castle. Really a magical moment.

Congrats on the new Baby!!!
