Spring's about to spring Old Man Winter lets you know he's not going anywhere without a fight.

24 hours of snow with more to come tomorrow is driving me insane. I've been tripping over my DH for 7 months now, Oh the heavenly bliss of retirement is getting to me.

I need to get outside with an shovel, rake, axe something, him in back, the me in the front. This snow isn't helping my sanity.

Spring please come sooooon and rescue me.

Me too! I can't wait to get out there for a whole day all by myself.

It's a good thing I went out to do some yardwork on Monday. Everything is under a few inches of heavy snow now. We have rain, not snow in the forecast. However, my spring break starts for me as soon as I correct exams and get the grades finished. I stay at school until I do it tonight. We leave on Saturday.

Saw the goldfish swimming around, so the heavy icy mush on Monday didn't do harm. Don't know how the robins survive, the poor things, it looks as if they're trying to eat the salt mix off the street.

Tuesday when it snowed, I was in denial.

Wednesday when it snowed, I was still in denial.

When I woke up this a.m. and asked hubby about weather and he told me it was snowing and then I looked outside - I wanted to shoot myself!

My big new office has windows.... windows that looked out today onto a winter wonderland.... made me wish I was back in my little windowless cubbyhole!

Winter and depression go together for me like a hand in a glove. WHERE IS THE SPRING!!!???!!!!
