They can keep the dollar for the rental, but I would like a refund on the two hours of my life I just wasted. What a stinker.

Yeah, we didn't like it either. We debated turning it off and DH said we had to see it out to see if it could redeem itself.
Nope. We hated the ending more than anything. I hate movies where I walk away going WTH just happened??

Aw man! I just added it to my Netflix queue so I could watch it while running on the treadmill. I'll give it a shot. Maybe my workout will render the movie a little less painful.

That was the worst movie!! We HATED it and I was actually mad that I wasted 2 hours on it!!!

This was me, too. I was tired, and fell asleep for a few minutes. Then I went back and finished watching it. :headache:

I loved the basic premise (Would you push a button for a million dollars, knowing it would kill someone you didn't know?), but they just didn't do it justice. Even with the help of DesCartes, it still stunk.

I actually enjoyed it up until half way through the movie and then I couldn't take it anymore and turned it off. It had a good thing going for a few minutes. :rolleyes1

that's how i felt. the beginning was pretty good, then it just got weird.

I'm sorry to hear the negative reviews, I just got it in the mail yesterday from Netflix. :( I'll still watch it though, even though Netflix only gave it a 2.0 rating for me.

Wow, no kidding. We were planning on finding it at Redbox, I'll have to mention this to DH before he goes!

Thanks for the PSA :thumbsup2

Too bad I was looking forward to seeing it. They filmed some of it here.:headache:

After I watched for awhile and knew it wasn't going anywhere, I took out my magazines and purged (taking out recipes). That's a movie where you need to be doing something else besides just watch it. I was disappointed they couldn't do more with it. What a dud!

OMG! Can I push a button and have those 2 hours back?

Bad acting! Bad accents!

The most compelling thing to me in the whole movie was the idea of having to clean up all that water in the house. That was really upsetting! ;)

I didn't care about any of the characters either--that is what they get for being so greedy in the first place.

If a half-faced man showed up at my door telling me to kill someone for any amount of money he'd find my foot up his...you know.

I thought the exact same thing on every one of your points. The flood was the most upsetting scene to me, too.

As a confessed James Marsden fan he was my excuse for watching it.

It really was an awful movie wasn't it? I keep waiting for it to get better, but it never did!

I read The Movie Spoiler and that stopped me from seeing it. Looks like I made the right decision!

I had seen the Twilight Zone episode it was based on. I was shocked when they made an entire movie from it!
