I have been lurking around the boards for a while and have finally registered. I will be going to WDW in December 08 after a four year absence. The past two years I have gone to Disneyland, but I have to say I prefer the Christmas season at Disney World.:santa:

:welcome: Welcome to the Disboards! :wave2: This is fun place. I'm glad you're going to WDW this year. Do you drive down? :car: I know it's a magical place year round, but I'm sure at Christmas, things are extra special. This will be my DDs (princess: & :cutie:) 1st trip to see the world in May. I can't wait to see the magic through their eyes. I've never been to Disneyland. Hope you enjoy the board! :disrocks:

:welcome: We went to Disney for Christmas of '06 and all I can say is WOW!:goodvibes We took my mom who is 68 and had never been to Disney let alone a vacation. She was on :cloud9: for months after! Savor every moment!:dance3:

Welcome!! WDW is a wonderful place as is DL, and both are espescially nice at Christmas time!

 Christmas is extra magical at MK. I did my first ever cruise last Dec on the Wonder. Glad you are joining in on the DIS.

Disney World has always been great to visit but I must say Dec. 2004 when we went down for Christmas was the best we are booked for this year Dec.7-13th.:dance3:

We just went this past Dec 1-8 for our first Christmas time at Disney! It was amazing. We still look at our photos daily on our digital frame and DD7 and I are in the process of printing out our photos for our scrapbooks. We took my parents with us. They did a couple of tours and then just followed our lead. We had an amazing time. They loved the Holiday tour with the behind the scenes of the decorations. The Osborne Lights are incredible! We hope to go again in a few years for Christmas. The holidays around the world is very interesting. When we go in a few years we're going to have DD7 do a report with info from each country. We didn't have time this year and being our first time we didn't want to overdo it. Candlelight Processional is a must do. We saw Monique Coleman from HSM as narrator. DD7 was in heaven. MVMCP was good but really crowded. We didn't get to Mickey's Twas the Night Before Xmas due to the crowds. We loved the parades and fireworks. We so hope to go again. At least we all have Christmas hats !

Enjoy!

We're off to F&W in October and hopefully going to F&G next April.

:santa:
