I know we dont go until next year but where are VH getting their prices from £1800+ for upgrade to PE. Obi please advise.

It depends on a lot of things, what VH have been allocated, the amount of seats available on the flights, what the current price is.
Just keep checking throughout the year and also get your data to check on the Virgin atlantic web site as well.
