Just tried to book PSB and need a cc???

I just called to book the Princess breakfast in Norway and was told I need a cc to hold the ressie. I have the DDP so I was wondering if they changed their policy? Last year when I made ADR's w/ the DDP all I needed was the ressie #. Did anyone else has to do this or should I call back and get a different CM? Thanks

We also had to give a cc when we booked about 6 weeks ago. they also have a 48 hour cancellation policy.

We also gave a credit card for the fantasmic dinner package..
I'm sure it will keep people from making reservations and not showing..

you don't cancel 48 hours ahead. Otherwise, you just pay in full when you go. We had reservations last week that I cancelled 2 days ahead, I might have waited one more day if not for the credit card hold.

I booked about a month ago and had to give a credit card for what I was told was a $10 per person deposit. If you show, you will just get charged for the meal (which you can do on the DDP if you have it). If you no show without a 48 hour notice, then your card gets charged for the $10 per person fee. As someone else posted above, it's the same for the Fantasmic package. Those were the only two restaurants I made ADRs for that had this policy, by the way, but there could be others.
