Just tried to book cafe mickey for half term...........

I just called to make my dinner reservations for next week and I enquired how fully booked the restaurants are and the lovely gentleman on the phone told me that Cafe Mickey and Auberge are really busy, but that everywhere else is quite quiet! So hopefully it is just that the people that have booked all wanted to go to the same place! xxx

That's good to know as we wasn't planning on eating at those 2 places. Thanks for the update:thumbsup2

i booked easy for 11th at lunchtime earlier!! sayin that, ive never booked by phone before, do i need to do anythin else now or just turn up on the time?? lol

Cafe Mickey is always busy, no matter what time of year! Also, I've always found it busy at Auberge too but as they limit the table numbers then I suppose it's to be expected.

Aliscrapper - you may be lucky as a couple as you will be able to stay in the park until closing each night. That should help significantly as most people with little children won't be out every night (we certainly won't be!). I bet the likes of BTM becomes almost a walk on later on ;).

Phew! Had a bit of a panic there as we wanted to eat at Cafe Mickey next Wednesday (6/6) but just got off the phone and have managed to get a table for 19:45hrs...a bit later than I wanted but it'll be fine :cool1:

Now do I need to book Restaurant des Stars or do you think we'll be ok just to turn up for a late lunch one day next week? In fact, can you book or is it walk up only?

Luv Suzy

I tend to book when I arrive at the hotel & haven't had any problems:)

What time do the characters come out in Cafe Mickey? We have been before - around 4/5pm and have seen them but read somewhere they don't come out until 6pm? I'm hoping to go fairly early on Monday or Tuesday - probably around 4.30pm so will hopefully get a table.

If I need to book - what number do I call?

Thanks

the characters are not at Cafe Mickey between 3pm and 6pm.
you can call 0033 160 304050 to reserve tables.

I would reserve in advance for Restaurant des Stars, even if its only that same morning at City Hall/your hotel reception. They run 2 lines, one with reservations and one without, and the one without, like Cafe Mickey, can be a slow line ;).

yes, just turn up, say you have a reservation, and give them your surname :).

Thanks for the number :)

I wonder if its a new thing that they don't come out until 6pm? I may chance it and arrive a bit earlier as the kids need to eat quite early as they get quite tired. Maybe we'll see them them towards the end of the meal

If you ask at the concierge at your hotel or in city hall they will be able to give you a print out of your reservation. I like to have the print out so I know we are definately on the system. :goodvibes

Sorry - I meant to quote scamp bunny above!

Here's hoping!!!:thumbsup2 We've decided to give breakfast a miss at the Santa Fe in favour of a late morning getting up so we can see Dreams every night. I've never been with these extended opening hours so looking foward to seeing the sun go down on the castle!

Can you only book at Disney hotels? We are staying in Explorers.. Can our reception book Cafe Mickey, or is it a trip to City Hall?

you can call the Disney dining reservations line and book your table regardless of where you are staying, onsite, offsite, day guest, it doesn't make any difference.

I don't know if the Explorers reception can book a table for you, but you can certainly do it at City Hall.

Thanks Elaine.

As my lot are a collection of meat only (me), the worlds worst vegetarian (DW) and "just chips" (DD11 and DD3), we will only decide at the last minute... Oh the joys....

City Hall it will be then.
