I just told my twin 16 year old nephews last night that I am taking them to WDW in December!

They were thrilled. I had to wait until the school year was done and made sure they took the MCAS exams.

I made up a quiz for them to throw them off. I gave them words that described WDW but sounded more like Las Vegas (ex: monorail, palm trees, Eiffel Tower, Venice, etc...) They thought it was Vegas. Then I put together a tentative itinerary for them. They already advised me that they are not doing Small World -- I told them to think again! :)

This will be a fun family vacation. My sister, their Mom, passed away 7 years ago. They first went to WDW after she died but this will be a whole new experience for them.

It's alway priceless to see their faces when they find out!!!! :earsboy:

Have a super trip! :earboy2:

Thanks! I've been planning this since August of 2004! Even before I took my trip in Dec of 2004!

Nothing beats Disney in December.

That's great. I hope ya'll have a WONDERFUL, MAGICAL, SUPER DUPER (pun on the old Disney tickets in '94), GREAT, EXCELLENT time!!!!

You will have even more fun than they will watching them experience Disney. What a great aunt you are!

cool maybe you'll see my family were going in december too i can't wait either my dad already started his countdown

I'm sure they will want to do Disney Quest. They were flipping through the brouchure last night.

I told them that I would book them a Princess Breakfast (just teasing them) and they said they would do a character breakfast or dinner with Mickey, no princesses!! :)

We are going in early December (3-11) so I'm hoping the crowds are low and the weather is great!

You sound like a great aunt! WDW the first part of December is great. You will all have a great time!

I like the puzzle idea-hope you have fun. We hope to go Oct.21-24, but not telling our 12, 14 &16 year old until they get home from school on Friday, Oct. 21. We would pack a few things them be of to WDW for a long weekend.

going in december up to the week before christmas is great but once saturday comes of the week of christmas it gets way crowded we go like 2 weeks before christmas and there are hardly no lines the longest you'll wait is about 15 minutes that was for us though but we loved doing MVMCP and always enjoy seeing the countries in epcot decorated also the disney hotels christmas time in disney is a blast!
