Just the two of us- WDW May 09 countdown on! **UPDATE Trying to change plans AGAIN!**

I'm posting Tyson's stroller on my PTR.

I'll be posting Emily's stroller after I "Disney" it out!! I have to wash it too, it still has sticky ice cream on the shade cover from last years trip to WDW! Those Mickey bars can be melty!!!:rotfl:

Oh I'm fine. Yeah I'm not posting as much just because school is kind of crazy. I have a 7 page paper due Wed. that i haven't even started. I'm just overwhelmed with the 6 books I'm reading plus articles to read on top of that. I think that's why I got a migraine Wed. I'm stressed. I don't really have anything to post on my board. No updates. But I'm getting back into the swing of things. I'm going to post more on my board and be more active on everybody elses. I miss talking with ya'll.

On my way! :cool1: (he kinda looks like he is walking...)

Good deal about the pacifier. I'm sure he'll have a couple of tough nights, but like everything esle, he'll get get used to not having it. Emily never wanted a paci. She took one for like 2 days then wanted nothing to to with them again. She has a blankie though that goes everywhere with us. I have 5 of them just in case one gets lost. They are very loved!:lovestruc

What are you getting the stroller for, just for around town & stuff? I really like the Maclarens. I saw a hot pink one for sale the other day, but mike didn't think we needed another stroller, bummer!!

Yeah just for around town. We go out a lot and usually that requires a stroller- like the museum, mall, zoo, downtown, etc. I am almost ALWAYS outdoors in the summer and he hasn't quite managed to grasp the fact that running away is dangerous so I strap him down :lmao: I have a cheapo from Meijer that I bought last summer and its in pretty bad condition. Besides the fact that he is almost too big for it, something is wrong with the wheel so it like sticks when I go to turn the stroller. I can't explain it but it drives me nuts. Figure its time for a new stroller and I am betting I will have to spend at least $50 on one with an upper weight limit so why not! We can all thank Rylan's dad for it since his money is what is paying for it :)

Tyson didn't take a paci either or a blankie. He loves his bottie though...bottle that is. He's still not off of it. His dr. appt. is next week. I'm not looking forward to explaining why he still takes it. If I give him milk in the sippy cup he spits it out.

:rotfl: I totally Disney-ed out the swap stroller with lime green duct tape and disney stickers along the bars

Oh man. I feel ya about the paper. I have a 1,400 word paper (about 5-6 pages) due Sunday. I already turned in the rough draft but I work so much better under pressure...you won't ever see me writing a paper like that until a day or two before! The last one I wrote- 1,200 words- I started the night before and got a 98% on it LOL

I do need to get back on track though. I have a huge anatomy exam a week from Tuesday and I HAVE to ace it. Nursing school depends on it. Plus, I have 4 other classes I am slacking off in. Let's just say that if anyone sees me DISing this weekend they better yell at me! Spring break next week!!

We miss you too  We understand though!

Oh...I forgot. I noticed someone on Ebay selling a 2007 Triumph for $225 PLUS $35 shipping :scared1: I emailed them and asked why they were asking so much (this was buy it now)...considering you can purchase one in store for almost $100 less. Its not because its 2007 right? I would think the price would go down for a stroller not up...

OK the stroller is posted now.

Man, i wish there were things to do around here. Our museum is boring for kids and there are no safe parks. The new mall is an outdoor mall so that might be fun but Tyson gets tired of going in stores very quickly. There is just nothing to do. I hate Macon. I'm moving to Florida as soon as I can. LOL I want to be close to the beach though and Disney. Maybe New Smyrna or Ponce de Leon.

Oh I have already decided I am moving to Celebration :woohoo: (or Tampa or Clearwater haha). I already told my mom that I am moving to Florida after I graduate. I even checked around to see what the requirements would be for my nursing license!

Our museum is actually pretty cool. They have a Tutankhamen exhibit coming this summer which is supposed to be really neat. They also have an IMAX theater attached as well. I love our zoo and we try to go a lot. He has so much fun on the train there. We actually have a pretty cool park close to here- its a splash park (if you don't know what that is, its just a park with those water jets in the ground that spray up) but from what I saw its closed until August :sad2: I just hate to be cooped up in the house so out we go! Luckily Indianapolis has quite a lot of things to do when its warm out.

Wow, it sounds like you have a lot more school work than I do. I'm taking two graduate level classes. They won't let me take more than that. The online class is easy. There's a lot of reading and discussions to post to. Also there have been a few papers lately and proposals/lesson plans. The diversity class is what is killing me. It's face to face on Wed. for almost 3 hours. from 5 to 7:45. I dislike my teacher but she was nice enough to tell me to go home Wed. because of the migraine. I'm dreading the paper though. It's my diversity paper. I visited my friend's mosque with her mom. We had to choose to do something we have never done and that we would never choose to to do on our own. It was interesting to learn about her religion. I probably have more than enough info and opinions to get me thorough the paper. I just need to also reference materials from the readings we have done so far. That's the hard part. Will ya'll proof read it for me if I get done in enough time for ya'll to?

I had to do something like that last semester for my Interpersonal Communications class. It was called an Intercultural Encounter. I did mine on...crap I forget...wait a sec..............

Pentecostals- that religion. It was different.

I will definitely proofread and such. You are welcome to read mine if you get bored!

Emily loves the Detroit Science Center, Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum for kids and both of the zoos! We also have a splash park right down the road. That is where I like to have her b-day parties! There are a ton of kids in our neighborhood too so we play outside all the time when it's nice out. During the winter months she plays indoor soccer and does gymnastics. It gets us out of the house!

Thanks! I'm going to try to have it finished by Monday.

I'm thinking of joining a Mom's club. My friend joined and likes the people. They really don't do much because there's nothing to do. They have speakers once a month and meet at a church. They have lunch at mcdonalds or chickfila every so often and they go to story time at Barnes and Noble. That's at like 10:30 am though and that's when Tyson usually gets up in the morning.

Hey I'm just curious. Are ya'll like me? I sit in the bed with my laptop and they are both asleep beside me. Do ya'll have laptops or do ya'll sit at a desk this late. Just wondering :rotfl2:

I had to do a paper on diversity too!! I wonder if I still have it?? I went to a hindu temple to do my research. It was pretty interesting, I grew up in a small upper-middle class town where everyone was white. I think there was one kid in our school who was mixed race. It's not like that anymore, but when I look back, it seems so uncultured!! Kinda like when I was watching Barefoot Contessa on Food tv last week and she was cooking for a benefit to "Save the Hamptons" WHAAAA?:rotfl:

I'm sitting on the chaise part of the couch with my laptop watching Fletch!! That is where you'll find me DISing most of the time! Emily is upstairs in her bed and Mike is at the other end of the couch in the cuddle corner...yes, that's what it's called!!!

Ha Ha Save the Hamptons? That's funny.

I'm the reverse. Macon is mostly African American. I think white people are the minority. All of our public schools are mostly African American. Our school test scores, like CRCT and SAT, are horrible so if people can afford it they send their kids to private school. If not, they move into North Macon where the upper middle class live and send their children to the two good schools. These schools are 50/50 or close to it and are up to date on technology and have better test scores. Both schools also love the arts. I student taught at one of them and fell in love. It's an awesome school. The private schools are too expensive for elementary school but I would never send Tyson to public high school here. It's way too rough. But I'm not racist. I definitely don't want it coming off that way. LOL I have friends of all races! :goodvibes I just want Tyson to go to school where he has the most opportunities to learn. We may move into the county above us. Their test scores are awesome.

LOL I am always on my laptop in my bed usually! I have a desktop but since I got my laptop in October its only been turned on two times. I hate booting that thing up. Its weird to use a regular mouse now! Rylan is asleep in his room. As much as I wish he would sleep with me sometimes (and he did all the time until just past 1 year) it just doesn't work out :(

I totally BSd my intercultural paper. A guy at work married into Pentacostalism (I think that's what it is??) and I thought it was interesting so I asked him some questions and looked up a bunch of videos on YouTube about their services and wrote my paper. I got a 100% on it LOL

Indy is a pretty good mix of white, black, and hispanic. Our public schools are terrible though. I went to Catholic schools all 12 years and he will definitely go to a private grade school. Our public high schools are not so bad, but they are just SO huge. I graduated with under 200 in my class...I could not imagine graduating with 1,000 other people!

Awww the cuddle corner! How cute! Brad is sound asleep but I face the computer away from him so that there's not bright like in his face.

Ok so now I'm worrying that I came off racist in the last post. LOL I'm so far from that. I just wanted to reiterate that. ;)

so I was wondering if ya'll are going to get Disney themed pedicures? I was thinking of red polish with white polka dots with black tips. Too much? I don't want just a mickey head on my big toes like i've seen other pics of. I want something different. Any ideas?
