Just spoken to Disney!!!!!

I know this is sad, but I've just made my first PS for our holiday and I'm really excited.

I know we still have ages to go yet, but actually speaking to *Disney* has made it all seem so much nearer.

You just can't compare how they deal with you to any other customer service experience. When you call any type of UK call centre you just don't get the same service or courtesy. We are pretty clueless in that respect (and my company operates a large call centre, and we too can be pretty bad in comparison)

So there you go, nothing exciting in this thread, just some sad thritysomething getting all excited after speaking to some woman thousands of miles away to book a meal!!!

But I think you know what I mean

Anyone else get excited over such things??

Oh yes, I know exactly where you're coming from!!

I've rung CRO twice in the past week to make PSs and it really is exciting isn't it!! They are so pleasant on the phone and so efficient it makes it all seem 'real'!! Mind you, the lady did muck up my first PS but luckily I figured out she'd make a mistake and when I rang the second time it was all put right for me no problems.

I Know what you mean, really brings it home to you that youre actually going!.
I had to change a PS that I had made, but didnt mind at all just hearing the music and the person answering the phone(SAD), who cares.

........ it isn't sad at all Craig ! It <i>is</i> exciting to speak to someone so far away and it brings out the realisation that you are actually going ( If it just felt like any another phone call then where is the magic?!!)

Make the most of it and enjoy the planning as well as the trip itself ......... but you are already doing that - good for you !

I always well up with tears of joy when ringin Mickey's Helpers. I rarely get the 'Goodbye' out properly as ,by then, I'm chokin up!

Nice to know others enjoy these things as much. Over the next few days I've got to call back to make some other PSs. Can't wait!!

Now...where is that link for booking the illuminations cruise..that's the next thing...only got to wait about 30 days before I can book it.

Well done you, I found phoning Disney a bit daunting the first time but they were so helpful and nice they really made me feel like they cared.

Enjoy 'Ohana - it's a great evening out, especially if you have children. If the MK fireworks are on while you are due to be there, try to get them to sit you at a window seat so you can watch them in comfort.
