Hello everyone. This is my first post here, (I hope I do everything right) but I've been checking out all of these boards for the past few weeks. We are booked for the Disney Land/Sea package in November. I am terribly excited! We will be on the three day Wonder on November 13th. I've never cruised before. I've never been to Disney before. We have friends who have gone a few times and I promised my daughter when she was 7 that we would go when she was 9. Well 9 came up awfully fast and now she is 12 (13 in September) and my son is 10 and we've finally gotten the funds to go. Yaaaayyyy!!!

I've been reading everything here getting hints and tips and ideas. It's all been very very helpful.

this is the place to come for the info! Don't be afraid of doing anything "wrong", we all do once in a while... and we have plenty of Dis-ers here to remind us when we do something wrong--RIGHT BD??

Don't worry if you ask a question that has already been asked a thousand times, everyone will answer it like it's the first time being asked... Just remember, we all love helping! I have definitely learned a lot from this board. I too, have never been on a cruise, and am SO excited.

Before you know it your post counter will be in the hundreds!!

First of All, "WELCOME to the DISboards!!!"

My family is taking our first cruise in 51 Days and are so excited, we made our ressies back in November 2002 after spending 5 days at Disney's Vero Beach Resort. While staying at Vero Beach, we took a ride up the coast and saw the Wonder in port, that got us so excited, that when we arrived home, we decided we wanted to take a 7 day cruise on the Magic, instead of a 3 or 4 day cruise on the Wonder.

I have received so many tips from these boards, so don't hesitate to ask questions!!!

You are going to have so much fun!!! My first Disney cruise was the best trip of my life!!

I'm sure it will spoil me for other cruise lines. My hubby want's to try another cruise line next year...let's just say this for the record...I DON"T!!!!

welcome to the DIS Frieda. We did a land/sea package back in 1998 (inaugural year) and we are hooked! LOL My DH doesn't even care about going to WDW anymore, he just wants to cruise

Hello and welcome!!

I'm pretty new here as well. But so glad we found this board. We're also doing the land/sea pkg. in November. Not the one you're going on. But I"m on this board everyday trying to plan as much as I can. We've never been to WDW either. It's seems to be a bit overwhelming. And since we wont' be there long, I'm trying to figure out how to do as much as possible in the short time we'll be there.
I read somewhere that someone wanted there summer to gone so it would be closer to their time of the cruise. I'm finding myself doing the same!! I"m wishing away my summer so I can go to WDW in November!!!
This is not our first cruise. But it will be for our kids. They will be 13 and 15. It's amazing we haven't taken them yet. So I guess that's why I'm excited too. I'm happy they'll be so happy to be there!!
Well, just wanted to share in your excitement. We all just can't wait to go!!

I am also new to the boards. We're leaving in eleven days! We'll be spending two days in Orlando (SeaWorld and shopping,) and then heading to the port for our first cruise on the Wonder, July 17! We're so excited, we can hardly stand ourselves! I'm hoping to write a detailed trip report on cruising with an almost three-year-old and a 5 month-old.

Hi bigsky - Hey, that's neat that you're going in November as well. I heard November is a nice month to go. So far I haven't heard of anybody else going on our cruise. Part of me can't wait for November but the other part doesn't want to wish the summer away!
