Just saw something disturbing ... now I can't sleep

I was just watching an episode of VH1's Rock Docs all about Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes of the group TLC. As you know, she died in a car accident. Toward the end of the documentary they showed footage of the accident. She was driving down the road, several others were in the the car, when she swerved and went off the road. All you could hear was people screaming. The next scene showed the vehicle all crushed up and mangled at the bottom of an enbankment.

It didn't show her body or anything, but what they showed was enough for me. I was and am still very disturbed by it. I think they should have put up some type of disclaimer before showing it 'cause I was completely unprepared. Especially since throughout the entire documentary she talked about how she felt like a spirit was chasing her and a lot of talk about disturbing dreams she was having. A few days before she was killed, a car she was riding in hit and killed a little boy. She went on to say that she thought the spirit meant to kill her but killed him by mistake. There were seven other people in the car and she was the only one killed. I don't think I will sleep a wink tonight. I have a new respect for the disclaimer VIEWER DISCRETION ADVISED.

I never heard about an accident resulting in the death of a boy a couple of days before she died... but I did hear she had a lot of foreshadowing in the months before she died - in an interview she didn't want to "take up earth" space but was buried in Atlanta. There are also pics floating around of her in a casket in the foreign country she died in - I vividly remember them, she is wearing pink monkey pajamas and you see her head injury clearly.

I saw it too. It was very unsettling to see someone moments before their death. Apparently, there was more footage but it wasnt shown.
On a side note, what were they passing around in that tin and did she seem kind of out of it-talking and moving sort of slow) in the video while driving?

tinatark-she was involved in an accident where a boy was killed.He had the same last name as her and she felt the spirit was after her instead. In one part of the video, she holds up the boys shoes. Why she had them was beyond me.

I saw it too- it was very strange. I missed most of the part about a spirit "chasing" her....why did she think this?

Wow, when I saw the footage, before they went off the road, I thought she seemed really quiet, almost like she knew what was about to come by the look on her face and she wasn't scared at all.

I wonder if she mean't to do this? I didn't see a car or animal cut them off, it just seemed like she simply turned the wheel and headed for the ditch.

The sound of the tires grabbing and skidding the pavement are unnerving.

They said of all the people who were in the car she was the only one who WAS wearing a seatbelt. And the only one who died. Chilling.

I just watched the video again on youtube.com and unless those vehicles have only lap belts, she was not wearing a seatbelt, there is no shoulder belt showing at all. There were 4 people in the backseat, not enough belts for them either way, but none were buckled back there either.

I know what you mean about VIEWER DISCRETION. I was reading a magazine about mothering. It had lots of stories about birthing and breastfeeding and organic goods. Then a woman told the story of her birth that ended in having a stillborn. When I turned the page, there was a picture of her, her husband and the dead baby skin-to-skin with them. I felt really bad for the couple, but I was very disturbed seeing the dead baby. The baby had died from an umbilical cord accident, so her face was a different color than the rest of her body and her mouth was hanging open. I wish that I had known about it before I looked at it.
