Just Saved over $400 using Disney gift cards purchased at Target!

This wont get sent out until Saturday as per coupon rules. Another post suggested it was being sent out at 3am via email.

There was no acknowledgement or indication of my order "qualifying" when I submitted online order this am... but hoping that the computer will just auto email everyone with the coupon like a shipping confirmation.

hmm ok.. Target wasn't packed I may just swing in on the way home and snag one that way.

On this note- do local Orlando DISers know if they keep a bigger inventory of Disney cards at the stores surrounding WDW? I plan on doing this too, but we arrive on the 7th so I won't have time to drive around to 3 or 4 targets to try and find one with inventory left! I'm hoping they keep mountains of them at these stores since they probably sell very well- even with just red cards discount purchasers.

So it seems that some in-store shoppers are getting a 20% off coupon for each $75 purchase. Wondering if this will hold true for on-line purchases too?
I read that it was supposed to be 1 coupon per customer. Not complaining - very happy for those who were able to get more than one. Just wondering about on-line... Any thoughts?

Yep it seems like experiences vary. I honestly didn't even attempt to buy $150 or two separate transactions as I didn't want to be denied at 1am . I'm not telling my DH (who ended up coming with me and was sound asleep at 12:30am) so we could ensure we each got one on each $75 transaction with our Red cards.

I did find the thread on slick deals where it is being accepted at some stores. The one mentioned is in my hometown! I SO want to go try it for the disney gift card but scared of the outcome.

Got my coupon this morning after arguing with the checkout lady She kept saying that the coupons were not going to be given out until Dec. 1st. We just went to another line because I did not want to deal with her. I wonder how she felt when the manager went around handing out the coupons. We made two purchases, one was mine and the other my sister's. We will be using both (hopefully) for GCs on the 1st

I am betting it works fine. The tough thing will be finding stacks of Disney cards. I am planning to be there at opening, but I bet some people will go tomorrow to hide cards.

My plan is to buy them with my RedCard discount anyway. We will be at Disney in 10 sleeps (MEEEEEEEP!!!) so we'll spend the & whether I get a 0% discount, 5% or 20%. I'm just hoping like heck for the 20!
