Has anybody ever tried to use the 10 percent coupon on them?
If you mean the 10% movers coupon, yes, I tried it a few weeks ago and it did not take any money off of the gift cards.
Has anybody ever tried to use the 10 percent coupon on them?
I just purchased over $4,000 worth of Disney gift cards at Target using my 5% pharmacy and 5% Target debit card...Woot Woot! Used them to pay off my trip with some left to spend at Disney in July!!! Saved $400...so I purchased some more to spend at Disney! It took over an hour to give gift card numbers to Disney operator..but he was very patient and helpful...VERY!!!! Trip is now paid for and I am feeling the Pixie Dust tonight!!

Target store credit card. Not Visa and not a debit card (although I believe those allow 5% off, too?)
Onalise said:So what you guys are saying is that they are NOT considered gift cards they are considered entertainment cards and you can use coupons on them?

I do not have the pharmacy discount and won't be getting it as I don't need pills and I get my flu shot free through Kaiser. So the pharmacy thing is a coupon for a one-day (ie. one time) shopping trip of 5% off? Maybe I can find a pal who gets their prescriptions through Target and ask for a favor.
Question; I have $3000 in Disney GC (all from target, $50 each). Can I 'trade' them in at a Disney store for GCs that are larger denominations? I'm afraid that my TA is going to disown me!!!
Thanks!

Just got my flu shot at Target. My insurance paid for it 100%, but the tech said that I would still get "credit" for getting the shot there.
Also, just got something in the mail - prescriptions (and I wonder if shots too) get double credit in the month of October.

I haven't gotten anything in the mail, or email and it seems like I never do
Thank you so much for the head's up on double credit for October! I tried to get my flu shot at Target about 2 weeks ago but for some reason my insurance company didn't approve it and they advised I'd need to pay OOP about $29. I called United and they advised Target was in-network so if it didn't go through I could submit for reimbursement. I thought that sounded like too much trouble for my DH and I but honestly if I'll earn 4 points on that, it's worth it!I haven't gotten anything in the mail, or email and it seems like I never do
So again, thanks for the heads up and based on other experiences, it should count twice just like the other "prescriptions" so fingers crossed.

however
if you don't pay off the amount purchased in full at end of month the interested charges negates the savings and you end up paying more on those GCs!Thanks for the great tips on using the Target Red card to buy Disney gift cards! Just purchased a couple today and got the 5% off. I'm a pharmacy rewards member, but wasn't scheduled to get a 5% any time soon. BUT when I went online to check my rewards balance, there was a link that said I could get a bonus 5% coupon by signing up to managing my pharmacy rewards online. Completed the quick online set up and a window popped up saying my reward coupons would be in the mail. Fingers crossed it will come soon and I can use the 5% red card AND 5% pharmacy for more Disney gift cards! Link is at the bottom right hand box on the targetpharmacyrewardsdotcom page.
Thanks again! We aren't either, because my hubby is a retired disabled vet, so we have "government" insurance, even though we pay for it.We are not eligible for the pharmacy rewards program in NJ (as well as a few other states). I tried![]()
I have saved a lot of money doing this. My fiance and I are getting married in Disney World in February and since I work at Target I get my discount and the red card and the pharmacy. For this upcoming trip I think we have saved around $1500.
