Hundreds of people ahead of us but when we got to entrance we asked if we could do single rider. No problem. Got to the ride and we were the only 2 there. They hadn't let the other line in. Another guy came up the stairs so they let the 3 of us ride on our own. Amazing. Never been the first on a ride before. Got off and did exactly the same again, still no one in single rider but this time others were there. Least we know what to do in future. Great ride. Could have gone a third time but son desperate to go on rip ride rocket.
Great morning.

That's hugely reassuring! From what I've been told previously, you have to be lining up at 06:30 for early entry to get a wait time under 2 hours when the early entry starts at 8....

...so it's nice to hear a positive result for a change :)

What time were you at the gates?

That was very lucky !!! Well Done ... We got back yesterday and when were there even at 8am the Q was anything from 210 mins to shortest we saw was 90 mins....

Still can't believe it. Sod's law but husband not meeting us till 11 today. He won't believe it.
The whole Harry Potter area is amazing. Puts 7 dwarfs into perspective when you think how long it took to build ( do love 7 dwarfs though). I was thinking Disney should try and hire some of the people responsible for Harry potter and get them to work on Star Wars Land, wouldn't that be great.

We rode it yesterday, got in line at 8.15 and waited 75 minutes. Queue outside is mostly shaded but hot(could do with more fans) inside bit is well done out. We saw single rider line and it wasn't busy, probably because unless you know it's there youd miss it.Enjoyed it but wouldn't wait more than 30 minutes in future. Thought line for Hogswart Express was quiet, only 15 minutes

Wow thats very lucky! Well done to you!

We got in there at about 9.15 last week and there was already a 185 minute wait! We opted for the single rider and waited about 60 minutes! Looks like catching the early bird worked for you :thumbsup2

We have been so lucky at universal with single rider. Only once been separated but nearly everything a walk on.
My son has ridden over 20 rides today, he walked straight on rip ride 4 times in a row then went back a 5th time later. The place looks packed but with express or single it's so easy to get on everything. We are soaked now and trying to dry off after Popeyes. Won't be difficult in this heat. Just given my son $5 for arcade while we have a rest. Then going to head back to Bonnet Creek and stop at Whole Foods on the way as heard good things. Think it might be time to eat something healthy!

I really hope the queue isn't as bad in a few weeks time but I think thats wishful thinking :roll eyes:

I did love it and being first on made it special but I think I loved the train more. When we use to go on holiday when I was a kid to camber sands we always were in a carriage like that and when I started work and commuted to London they still had those carriages so I think I just reminded me of days gone by.
It was great but I hope the next ride, King Kong I think, isn't 3D. Would be nice to have something different.

Early entry as a Lowes Hotel guest is definitely a worthwhile perk :)

Looking forward to seeing the Harry Potter additions when we go next year.
