We stayed at Vb for 5 ngiths in a 2 bedroom in building 12. Loved it!! It was not ready when we arrived around 1 but when we returned from lunch and a grocery stop around 3:30 it was and so worth the wait.

Loved the view. We really enjoyed the pool and beach. Our DD #1 is 3 and enjoyed several of the resort activites.
Anna wearing her princess crown she had made for the tea party later in the day. FREE
At the tea party.(FREE) The kids were very quiet.
Anna at the chefs class. We made an apron and hat. We learned about kitchen utensils, etc. And decorated a cookie $10
This is a pic at the sealife craft class. We made a foam fish bowl. $3 In this photo Anna is wearing her bead necklace that we made in another craft class. $3
Photo of our fish bowl. We're very proud.
Anna really enjoyed the things we attended and I found them to be a good value. The CM's were great and interacted well with the kids.
All in all a great trip. We were saddened that the pirate ship went down for some rehab in the middle of our trip with no notice. Do you know how nice it is to tell your 3 yr old "yes honey we will play on it in the morning" to get dressed in the am and go to find it down for the rest of your trip. I realize things must be maintained but some notice the night before would have been great.
Now my only big let down of our trip came from our limited dining there. We have in the past always dined off sight but this was only a 5 night visit and I didn't want to leave the resort every evening. We ate at the Green Cabin room one night, all I can say is YUCK, oh and expensive yuck at that. But the apple martini was great. We then ate at Shutters, ditto for the above statement. The steaks were cooked right and had a nice flavor, the whipped potatoes were barely smashed potatoes with no flavor. Our group had the 3 NY dinners, a burger, and 2 kids chicken tenders for $168. We did finally get a drink refill when we asked for the check, dissappointing meal and service. Never again.
Other than that, the trip was a blast. CM's were friendly and helpful, the beach was beautiful, lots of shells, great rooms. Next summer we are skipping Disney and doing 2 weeks at VB!!!!!!
