Just returned from Alaska Wonder cruise - general musings

Splurging on a veranda for our Alaska cruise. Can someone recommend a clean/safe hotel for a couple nights stay prior to the cruise?

Just to add to my previous post I booked the Hyatt for 160.00 per night through Last minute travel club. I find them to have the best rates in Vancouver. There's another hotel called Carmana Plaza that gets really good reviews on trip advisor. It's kind of a apt hotel with 1 and 2 bedroom suites and full kitchen. I've seen it for 135.00 a night. I'm going on a holiday weekend and it was already sold out, but it looked really nice.
