Had 12022 cat V room which was shared with DW, and DD8 and DD5. Room location was very good, close to midship elevators and lounge. No noise problems at night.
Concierges were Ashley, Danny and Tracy. All were courteous and eager to please. We booked only a couple months in advance but got cabana #14, which was fine, but its beach area is not quite nice as the other ones. It backs onto that strip of sand near the lifeguard stand and tether ball, so you have to go a bit further to get to the water. CC day was 12/18 and air temp was 80-82 with water temps feeling cold at first, but then you got used to it if you stayed in.
Predeparture requests were all met, specifically preferred sodas in fridge and tickets to the 2 princess Meet and Greets. Had to wait until boarding reception to get the gingerbread house tickets as shoreside couldn't get those in advance. Two little pink robes were waiting in closet.
Head server was Ivo, Server was Jean Pierre, and Asst was Suwa. Jean Pierre was very professional and takes great pride in his job. Also, his recommendations were usually spot on. Host was Kevin who I didn't really meet or see during cruise, but room was always made up just fine when we returned.
Had ERA dining rotation, Pirate night was in Royal Table. Crush did talk to us at Animators, DW thought it was quite cool.
Rouge One showed at 10:45 on the first night, which was 16th. Expected WD theatre to be packed, but there were plenty of seats open when movie started. (Saw Force Awakens on Wonder on opening night last year and line started 1 hr before showtime). Other movies were Dr. Strange, Moana, and Finding Dory.

Overall nice trip for the family to get into very merry spirit.

my kids are your kids ages, did you find that you spent a lot of time in the lounge?

DD was 3&4 on our first cruises and we spent quite a bit of time in the lounge. The hosts were always happy to see her and always looked for ways to entertain her.

Honestly, not a lot. But that probably had more to do with the fact that it was a 3 nighter with no sea days. They did go in for snacks in middle of day for the random macaroon or to grab something to drink, but we didn't linger. We tried breakfast once, but the offerings are continental and kinda sparse for my kids who need some bacon and toast in the morning :). We did go for the cocktail reception (minnie was the guest) and I gave them some of the crayons and pictures to color that were next to the TV. DD5 enjoyed that while we waited for Minnie. Bottom line, we made multiple trips per day (like getting popcorn for movies), but only spent 1-15 mins on each trip. That may be different if there were sea days where we didn't have many ticketed events.

Glad you enjoyed your trip!

Just as a note, the cabin was closer to the forward elevators, but not that far from midship. (We stayed in 12028 on our first because my dad decided to splurge. We've since gone back to "steerage". :rotfl2:)

Thanks for catching that Dug, yes I meant the room is just off the forward elevator bank not midship. I was thinking of my last room on the Wonder.
