Just returned from 2 weeks in Disney - Observations

I loved Epcot when I was five and arguably there was much less to it in 1986. There is plenty to do at the Kidcott stops, lots to learn, the new Phineas and Ferb Agent P stuff, and plenty of fun rides, especially Imagination for kids. I'd say at the very least try and give it a half day look. You'll be surprised.

Epcot is my 4 kids favorite park and has been since my now 18 year old went the first time at 4!

Enjoyment of EP for kids may also depend on height. My little one just scraped the height sticks last time at 40", and LOVED (I can't overstate that enough) Test Track and Soarin'. She was OK with EP previously, but it's now her second favorite.

Add the Agent P adventure next time we go, and I think it's going to push MK quite a bit!

As our kids have gotten older, our views on the different parks have changed. We were all about MK when they were young, and their first visit was when DD was 4 and the other one was 10months old. To them, Epcot was ok, they loved riding the clamshells, but it was so big for them it would wear them out. We despised AK at the time, and a few trips we skipped it all together.

Now as we gear up to head back down in just a few days, my kids are starting to shy away from MK and are enjoying AK alot more and Epcot, and both have always loved DHS.

We are like you - we just roll with it because of the heat, we do what we can, but we have found we do move slower in the summer and that's ok...I always tell my family that it beats sweating at home. ;)

We are still going to skip it - this won't be our last trip. And I think DD will enjoy Epcot more when she is a little older.

Very true! Epcot was always my least favorite park when I was kid. As I got older, I really learned to appreciate what it is and all that is there. It is now my favorite park and I make sure to visit it at least 4 times each trip! It just doesnt have enough for small children besides the Kidcot stations and Nemo.

I would also like to know what your kids enjoyed at HS. I'm going with my DD who's 2 years old - and yes, she's happy anywhere but I don't see much for her at HS
