Arrived quite late (around midnight) on a Friday night. The pickings on the Aisle were not great, but ok. Quite a few full size, some intermediate, several pick-ups, noticed one Mitsubishi Eclipse (DS wanted this badly, but it was not practical for us). No mini-vans or SUV's. We chose a silver 4-door Buick Century, and were quite comfortable and pleased.

Checkout was quick and easy, presented driver's license, EA card, coupon, and Disney Club card. We were on our way within a few minutes. Spouse as extra driver was free.

However, there was a snag on the return. The hand-held computer checkout presented us with a charge around $70 higher than my quoted ressie (the total on my res was 154.04, with all taxes, discounts and fees, for an 8-day full-size rental). All my discounts were there, but the base rate was way highter than quoted. We were forced to go to the counter to straighten it out. Luckily, having heard this could happen, we had allowed time. After about a 10 minute wait at the counter, I presented my printed email confirmation to the clerk, who redid the charges. She had to do some math manually for my discounts for some reason, and the result was actually less than my original quote, a bottom line total of $139. I didn't argue!!!

I will, however, be watching my credit card closely to see that the charges post correctly. Be sure and print out those email confirmations!!

Glad it worked out for you, and thanks for reminding us all to keep the printouts and email.
It did happen to us last year and I did not discover it till we returned home (s/o did not check the total at check in, he just went his merry way----MEN!!!), I called and they fixed it immediately over the phone. Never showed up on the credit card as anything but the correct total.

Same thing happened to me in May - they did not include the 15% Emerald Club discount that was on my original reg, it was about $20 high. I had to go inside to get it corrected. My credit card charge was OK.

I really have to wonder now about this. I had the EA rental last weekend. and it was friday pickup at 11 am and drop off monday at 430pm. which would have been 4 days. well instead of the 100.92 I was only charged 70.92! hey 30 bucks less was fine by me! thats the way it was printed out on the receipt.......I didn't have to go to the counter.

you mean you did not rush into the counter and demand to pay what was shown on your confirmation ? :)
