Just returned from our 2nd trip with Disney. We in part thought the first trip was a fluke...but nope, it only got better. Our first trip 13 months ago could only got better. Our hats go off to the Disney Crew and ship. We boarded the ship on 2-8 this time being a seasoned vetran we pre-booked out excursions. We spoke to folks who just winged it and took taxi's but we opted not to do that. All we had to do when we boarded ship was book Palo, register the kids for the lab and club and EAT! The food has gotten even better as the ship has implemented a new menu in the past year. The sail away party was grand and for the person who suggested taking bubbles and blowing them--we did it. We traveled with our 2 kids almost 13 and 7. For our oldest he could roam the boat make friends and be a free spirit. Our youngest bounced back in forth between going with us and the club. In St Thomas we ventured on land and left the kids on the ship in their daycare programs and had a great time. We bought the pass for the rainforest a must, it is so beautiful and peaceful! We would suggest using it as often as possible. Both times we had late seating dinner, it was rough fro our little one of 7, but we muddled through it (she was tired). This time we didn't attend some of the 6:30 dinner shows and concentrated on seeing th e7:45 shows, they were in Rockin Bar D, they were family oriented and overall very amusing and fun. The shows Disney put on are great, colorful and exciting. You won't get tired seing them again and again. This time traveling, we actually felt like we got the chance to relax and vacation. Our first trip we did so much we need a vacation to recover from the vacation. Our Server/ Asst Server and Room Cabin where excellant (Emmanuel, Rudy and Maurice). Our room was a deluxe on floor 2, it was infact next to the room we had last time , we love that we actually have 2 bathrooms of sorts. OUr room was very conveient with a 48 inch window. As I said we prebooked the excursions. I wouldn't recoomend the Pinel Island Snorkeling tour, quite a few topless ladies and for those who might be on a DISNEY vacation it might not be appropriate. If you want jewelry the black opal/austrialian opal and tanzanite in St Maarten are awesome, my husband and I both have new trinkets. We did go again to Trunk Bay, at St Thomas and as I said left the kids on the ship, it is beautiful. All the sailaway parties on deck are great--look for IAN he is high energy and very amusing and entertaing to watch. The weather was great and the seas calm, the seas were calm and take lots of sunblock. Our last night at sea is hard, saying good bye to our new friends, the ship and the thought of reality is really hard. I couldn't say enough things about the 2 wonderful experiences we've had with Disney. I like Disney, hope all your dreams are "DISNEY DREAMS". We hope to go back in another year and make it a family tradition.
