My DW and I just returned from a quick four night stay in a studio at BCV. We checked in at about 5:00 pm on Tuesday. No line at the check-in counter, and got a "welcome home" from the cm. Our studio was # 355, close to the pool elevator and the ice-maker room. A little further from the main elevator. The room was clean and everything was in place - perfection.
From our patio we could see the top of Spaceship Earth, The Land, Imagination and Japan. We could also see the highest of the illuminations fireworks. The fireworks were quite loud, even with the patio door closed. When we first checked in, from the patio I could hear The Beatles playing in the United Kingdom.
The road noise is not really noticable, and not too bad with the patio door open. Traffic was pretty light on the road while we were there. The room was very quite. The room next door was marked Cast Members Only, and the room across the hall was marked Telephone Electrical Room.
The bath water was hot enough for us, but did not have a much pressure. The AC seemed to work fine. The walk to Epcot was less than ten minutes, and was quite pleasant.
We got a "welcome Home " from the DVC info desk at BCV and toured the model rooms. We were given a BCV pin during the tour.
The weather was fantastic! High around seventy and lows in the fortys with lots of sunshine, and slightly warmer on Friday and Saturday.
This was our first DVC stay as members, and our first stay in the Epcot Resorts Area. It was truly magical. The epcot resorts area offers almost anything you could want. We have a two bedroom at BCV reserved for later this year and cannot wait to return.
