Just remembered to ask this!! DVD question

I hope I am not the only person to notice this....otherwise you wil all think I am crazy! When you are watching a DVD, does one line appear in each one that shows it in closed captioning at the bottom? I have no clue why it does this, but I always notice it! Does anyone know what this might mean?

Sounds like you have a setting on your TV or DVD player to display closed captions. They shouldn't normally appear unless you turn captioning in the DVD on, and in that case it would look like subtitles instead of closed captioning.

No, the set or the DVD isn't set on closed captioning. This only happens on EACH dvd ONE time each time it's played Just the one line will 'appear'. It's always the same line as well. I wondered maybe if it was a code or something. Can't figure it out.

My Finding Nemo DVD has three scenes that show a line in French at the bottom of the screen. I have no idea why. It is odd.
