Just recieved "valid" stickers???

I jsut recieved some "valid" stickers to place on my membership card. It says to place them over the expiration date. However, my DVC cards do not have expiration dates on them????

Does this mean my cards were never valid??? They are replacement cards............

Look on the back of the card, at least that is where the expiration date is on mine. I wish they'd sent out new card, my numbers are wearing off.

The old style (non-raised number) member cards have an expiration date. The newer style with raised numbers does not.

We have the newer style cards(raised numbers), with no expiration.I still put the sticker "valid" on the back of our cards, just in case.

I think I would have liked a new card with an expiration date of 2044. Wouldn't that have been cool?

Thanks. I have the raised card with no expiration date on the back. So, I guess there is no need to use the valid stickers!! (I hope)!

We also got 4 "valid" stickers for our cards that do not have an expiration date. Maybe I'll put them on our drivers licenses and vehicle registrations!

Oh man, what a bummer, I wish I had thought of that....drivers license and vehicle registration, great idea, just wish you would have some up with it a little sooner....now I have to go through all of yesterday's garbage. I hope I find them soon or this is going to be a very unpleasent day.

I use my member number when making reservations. I hardly ever buy anything at Disney stores anymore. My kids are older and I haven't joined the grandparents club yet. Why is it that stickers and cards are even such an issue? Where are the cards needed?
Do you need the member card for purchases off site to get the huge $2 discount if you buy a $20 item? Do you need the member card to get discounts when you are at WDW or is your room card saying "member"sufficient? I guess I am not spending enough at Disney stores to understand what the card is good for. Help me understand - thanks.
