Just received purchase docs and confused!

We just bought in at SSR. Docs came in the mail today. Our UY is listed as Sept.07 so we have 160 points now and will receive 160 more in Sept. 08 (incentive). Do I have this right.....the 160 points for the '07 UY will expire in Sept. 08 unless we bank them by the end of this month?

Yes, you have that correct, you get the '07 points and will turn around and get the '08 points. Points have to be bank by the end of the 8th month but call to make sure since you might not be in the system yet.

That is true in general, but when you purchase and have a UY that could present a banking issue, they usually waive the banking deadline to some extent. You may want to discuss with member services.

Given the time frame anyways, you should try and book any trip you want to make before September ASAP, and then bank the rest.

Minor update: Since you are in the process of buying, contact your guide and discuss the banking deadline.
