Just realized how many of the WS shops in Epcot will be closed

Im in shock, I hope more open by mid Aug, it seems like a huge opportunity missed in money that could be made, maybe Im wrong. I know I spend money in the shops in WS! loll I need to atleast be able to buy my Laila perfume!!

I was really surprised to how many shops and restaurants would be closed. I'm really hoping they open quickly after parks open.

Wasn't there a recent posting that showed Job listings for international CM for world showcase that would start in January? Just hoping they will be in place by our May trip lol.

If you look at the ap calendar epcot is the least booked

I don't think we will see more shops or restaurants in WS open until the crowds improve.
But, I don't think more people will attend until the shops and restaurants are open.
The 2 new rides could change a lot of that when they open.

EPCOT also has the largest capacity of any park, so assuming all parks have the same percentage cap, EPCOT would need the most people to sign up to hit that limit. That's also why DHS and AK are the first two to go - they have the smaller capacities and are closer to equal. It's not that more people want to go to AK than to MK, but MK has 150% as many slots to fill.

Less people are interested im epcot now and dhs simply has the better line up of attractions. Of course capacity is a big issue but epcot will come as a last choice for now, for many people, for lack of appeal
