Just read an article...I knew the fiance

I was just checking out the Orlando Sentinel site to follow up on a story posted about SSE. On the main page was a header that caught my attention. It was about a Palm Bay FL man who was killed in Iraq by a suicide bomb. I had never heard of this young man before, but as I read the article I came to realize that I knew his fiance. She was younger than I was, so we were not in the same grade, but we had gone to the same elementary school and her mother was my brownie leader for part of a year.

I have not yet been to this board. I was watching the war unfold non-stop for the first 4 days or so, but it was getting to be a bit much, so I chose not to submerge myself in it anymore. I only stumbled across this article on accident, and wasn't really sure how it made me feel. I didn't even know the man killed, but....

My nephew knew the soldier from Howell NJ that was killed by the suicide bomber. He was on my BIL's little league team along with my nephews. My sister and her family live in Howell NJ. Sad news.
