Just purchased pixie dust pass online- expiration date?

I just purchased the pixie dust pass for my husband and I online, we will not be using them to enter a park until August. Currently, the expiration date says one year from today, but once we enter the park in August, the expiration date should change to a year from that date correct?
I think that is correct, I'm just having a small moment of panic I guess lol! Any reassurance would be appreciated! Thanks everyone!

Correct. If you end up not going to a park, then it will expire one year from purchase but the amount can be used towards purchase of another ticket.

it's because the APs used to be vouchers that didn't expire for 15+ years!
