since everyone thinks i'm "Mr. negativity" lol, first the good....

Very cool that they have a new quest at WDW, and are furthering vmk and pushing it with a new quest rather than giving up on it (which people thought may happen when they stopped the tours).

NOW, back to my usual self....

ahem...

WHO was the brain surgeon that thought up the idea to get the printed out quest (this is a piece of computer paper with ink on it people, not a pre-made quest like the others) Stamped at the ONE RIDE IN ALL OF ANIMAL KINGDOM, where you have a REALLY good chance of the thing getting wet/ruined/smeared or all of the above. I mean having to take it with you on that ride seems silly. Couldnt you get it stamped at everest, or anywhere else in the park. Dont know about you peeps, but when we go all of us dont ride kali, so we leave anything we dont want soaked and value (like the quest i printed out at home and brought to wdw lol) with the people in our group who dont ride.

I dont know, seems the norm for vmk lately though. Great idea, poor execution.

Remember to bring Ziplock freezer bags to ride Kali River rapids with quest.

Do you actually have to go on the water ride to get it stamped? It says get the quest stamped at the entrance of Kali River Rapids, doesn't say anything about actually riding it. We love the ride but only on very very HOT days that we can dry off in a short amount of time.

Also, why can't they make this quest last longer? April to September? Doesn't give many a chance, especially those going in October through December. Oh well, we are not going at all this year anyway so it won't matter much to us.

It is true that it doesn't say that you have to ride it, but to get a couple of the questions you have to go on it to answer them. I see one is at the top of the lift, another during the logging scene.

I just wished they had posted this yesterday when I was at the park. I think for the media day I rode everest 15-20 times and coule have been looking at all of this stuff to have the answers.
