Just paid off my Sept trip!!

I just made the last payment for our trip. We officially have 96 days til I am back home. The kids spending money is put back, so now begins the gas money. I was really beginning to get worried as my job ends this Friday and my tip money is what pays for our trip. My wonderful husband has taken his weekend side money and put towards the trip too. Since I have no job prospects right now, it's off to the sewing machine to teach myself to sew and hopefully put some money back into the bank. I may very well have the best husband in the world. He completely backs this crazy idea of me learning to sew and possibly opening an etsy shop.

How much longer until you are back at The World? How close to paid off are you?

We have just over 500 days until we go back , but we still look forward to going.

I think an etsy shop is a great idea. It couldn't hurt to try. Post back if you open one.

I paid my trip off this morning too! Eighty days for us! Waited till my son received his diploma before paying off the trip which is his graduation gift!

Congrats! Today must have been trip pay off day. 75 days for us and I made the final payment today too! Had to wait to get the 5% Target Pharmacy card to save the 10% on the gift cards before I could do it. Really that 10% savings will be our tips and spending money while we're there so we're ready to go

OP, we must be travelling at pretty much the same time. This past weekend we were 99 days from our trip. When do you go. We will be there from Sept. 29th to Oct. 7th?

I was lucky, I paid our trip off when I got my income tax. I also wanted to pay it off when the dollar was close to par. I'm glad I did because it is lower now than when I paid it off. I figured it would be silly to wait and pay more when I had the $ at the time.

Oh yea, I like the disboutiquers thread. I am jealous that I can't do some of the stuff they do on there. I don't have the time, talent or machine. I have managed a few things though. Maybe when I'm old and retired I'll have time.

Oh yeah! We are travelling about the same time as you! We paid off our trip this past weekend!
The only things left for us is a rental car and money for food-but we are staying DVC so we will make quite a few meals in the room.

I just paid off our Sept. Fantasy cruise and still have to finish paying for our FD trips. I have two of them- one before and one after the cruise in which I'm taking different grandchildren. I can't wait- it's so much fun to plan and have that $$ behind you. Congrats OP, and have fun in September!

Sept 29 - Oct 4! It's been three years since my last trip and I am home. So lucky my husband understands my Disney addiction. I am not a seamstress, YET. It will happen, I am going to practice until it is right. Saw another machine I wanted today, but know he would kill me if I got it.

Just paid off our Sept trip last week. Woohoo!! I booked last October and been making payments almost every week. We also have about 85% of our spending money saved, flights are booked. Now the hard part - waiting 78 more days!

My trip will be paid off this Friday. So looking forward to NOT having a Disney payment! ugh. I hate payments. At least it is interest free. lol

I am there with you tomorrow! Already have tickets, and I will make final payment on our resort as well. Now it's just a matter of saving spending $. I feel fortunate that my whole pay check is disposable income and we can vacation comfortably.
