Just out of curiosity...

DBF and I are trying to go once a month with the Deluxe APs that we have now. I live 216 miles north of Disneyland, and DBF lives 294 miles north of me. He travels down to me, and we travel together to Disney for about 2-3 days. Totally worth the gas :)

We live in Glendale AZ. We had 2 trips planned in a year. One in March and one in February. Once we had the passes, we felt we needed to go more often. Thus was born "Our Year Of Disney". We have gone 4 times, and we have 2 more trips planned. DH now says we need to get passes for next year. I'm not going to argue with him!

I live 500 miles north in Chico, CA. I fly down mostly for 3 day weekends about 4 times a year. I'm using the heck out of my pass this year because I'm not sure I'll get one after next Aug when this one expires. At least that's what I'm saying now. I'm sure I'll be singing another tune once August comes though! LOL!

My DH has one. We figured with the amount of money the AP discount will save us between the park discounts and the hotel (on-site), it was worth the extra money. We saved the difference between the 5 day park hopper and Premium AP just booking the hotel so it was definitely worth it to get it. We plan on going at least one more time next year.

Oh, we're from Calgary, AB too!

I live 10 miles south of Disneyland in Huntington Beach. I've got a Deluxe Annual Pass and go to the parks once a month. When I next renew the pass, i'll be buying the Premiere Annual Pass thats good in both California and Florida. Next winter, i'll be spending two weeks in Orland and want to go to WDW.

We are in Portland, OR. But we spent 28 days in disneyland this year thanks to a very lucky year in terms of DVC points usage. We are not renewing as we only have one trip happening in 2013.

We are in Olympia, WA and got our passes in August. We did 8 days in August, then my DS7, DS4 and I went 6 days this month. I just booked a mommy and me trip with my DS4 for February for 5 days. Then we plan on another 8-10 days in August for all 4 of us before our passes expire! I might sneak another trip in, if airfare drops low again.

AZ.....about a 6 hour drive..........very boring drive.
We are doing 5 trips this year..............5-6 nights each.

We live in southern New Mexico. If I go more than once in a year it is cost effective.

400 miles north, have been in the parks 9 days this year, expect another trip on this AP in August for 4-5 days and possibly a weekend trip in October.

We are 30 minutes "driveway to parking garage" from DLR. We usually go once or twice a month since we are limited to weekends. I wouldn't mind some evening trips but homework and traffic make that too difficult during the school year. We will occasionally spend the night there for birthdays or special events like the Halloween Party. But otherwise we are rope drop to early afternoon people.

We do try to do longer days once during the summer and once during the Holiday season for the parade and fireworks. But other times we usually avoid those things.

We live in Seattle. This is the 3rd time in 6 years I've had an annual pass. The first time I had one, but the rest of my family did not. I think I had 3 trips total on that pass. The 2nd time, all 4 of us had them and we had 2 trips. This time we all 4 have them, and leave next week on our 2nd trip. I'm hoping to maybe squeeze one more in before they expire in May.

Portland here.

This year we went for 4 days in February and 5 days in June.

Next year we are buying annual passes as we have found we prefer 5 days and plan on going March and October. I think the math works out to if you spend more than 5 days per year in the park, it is worth the AP.

Don't forget about blackouts.

I live just over 200 miles north of Disneyland in the Central Valley. With my current AP (Deluxe) I should go to Disneyland at least 3 times, hopefully 4-5 times, each trip at least 2 days. My next trip is next weekend for two days and then I'll go again in January for 4 days. A couple years ago, when I was going to college in San Diego, I purchased the SoCal Select AP, which made sense considering I was able to go during the week when it wasn't blocked out. But now, since I live father and am less able to go during the middle of the week, the Deluxe, while more expensive, made much more sense.

I live in Los Angeles, about 30-45 minutes away. On a very good day, sometimes 20-25 minutes. Those days are rare. I go probably 3+ times a month.

Yet another Portlander.

My DF has had a Premiere AP for the last few years, because she usually makes at least two trips a year. (Last year, three.) She has not decided whether or not to renew yet, because a job change has significantly altered her ability to take trips. (More time, but fewer miles to use.)

I'll be buying a Deluxe AP next year for one 4 day trip in Janaury, and a 5 day trip in October. (And possibly one sometime in the spring near my birthday!)

i live in flagstaff arizona and have had premium pass for the past three years, and have gone maybe every 1.5 months.

We live in the Chicago suburbs, not sure how many miles away maybe around 2000? Have Premium Passes and enter the parks between 18 and 21 days a year.

Us too! We've had the Premier Passport for DL and WDW for the past couple years, and you can see from my signature line the trips we've taken.

This year we're just going to get the DL annual pass (for various reasons)

We live in sacramento (about 6hrs north of DL) and activated our APs in june (the day carsland opened) and have made 4 trips to DLR so far this year. We're planning another trip in Feb

OP here, I thought of something else I want to ask those of you who live like 8-15 hours away - like far Northern California to say, Seattle, for example, or the equivalent distance in some other direction from DL. When you are making multiple trips in a year, are you flying each time? Aside from the tickets, the thing that's costing us the most this trip is the airfare. Previously, we have always drove down (about 11 hours). This time we're flying. I'm thinking that if you could just throw everything in the car and drive down in one fell swoop, stay at a cheap motel, and you already had APs, it wouldn't be quite as pricey. Like how I'm totally justifying this?!?
