Just out of curiosity...

We live in Vancouver, BC (Burnaby for those who know the area). This is our second year having AP's, first time we went 3 times (15 days) and so far we have been once but are planning at least one more trip. pixiedust:

OP here, I thought of something else I want to ask those of you who live like 8-15 hours away - like far Northern California to say, Seattle, for example, or the equivalent distance in some other direction from DL. When you are making multiple trips in a year, are you flying each time? Aside from the tickets, the thing that's costing us the most this trip is the airfare. Previously, we have always drove down (about 11 hours). This time we're flying. I'm thinking that if you could just throw everything in the car and drive down in one fell swoop, stay at a cheap motel, and you already had APs, it wouldn't be quite as pricey. Like how I'm totally justifying this?!?

Jetblue has $200 roundtrip tickets from Portland, 1 checked bag, 1 carry on and 1 personal item per person all free and you get Direct TV. I refuse to drive to LA ever again. Did it twice and the trip home was exhausting.

I'm also from the bay area so about 7 hours driving. I just activated our passes at the beginning of this month and plan to use them at least for a weekend trip every month. Since we are a family of 4 it only makes sense to drive and we stay at cheaper hotels. This next trip in January we will be driving our 4 door car instead of our van to save gas.

I live in Seattle, WA and have been an AP holder for many years.
I tend to be in So Cal at least 3-4 times/year. Between annual girls trips, family down there, etc. I make it to Disneyland a lot it seems!

DH and I are here right now from Vancouver. This is our 4th trip on our AP's.

We fly down each time and stay at PPH. And stay for 5-8 days each time we come.

We plan on at least 3 more trips before our premium AP's expire and I have the Tinkerbell race in January also.

We come by ourselves as DH tells the grandkids it is our time to be a kid. I say we are living our retirement while we can aford it.

We live 2700 miles away in Ontario, Canada. We took our trip Oct 30-Nov 13. Now that we have APs that are good for another 11 months, we are looking at a second trip--but only when the littlest gets to 40". He was free for our trip as a 2yo, but turns 3yo in three weeks. If we have to pay for him, we want it to be worth his while and get him on RSR and Silly Symphony Swings this time. (The only two rides he wanted that he could not ride.)

I live 6 miles from Disneyland in Orange, Ca. My wife and I go at least 5 times a month. We have the Premium pass, as we like to be able to stop in whenever it strikes our fancy, without having to get out a calendar. There are days when we stay all day, or days when we go for 2-3 hours. Sometimes we just drop in for Billy Hill and the Hillbillies and a Dole Whip.

We are in Edmonton as well, and have gone 3 times so far this year (started last Christmas when we got married at the DLH)

About to embark on our fouth trip in a few weeks, and have already booked for Feb 2013.

I ended up getting our annual passes during our June trip, made more sense to me, and now I just have to go more often LoL.

I suspect we will go at least two more additional times next year after the Feb trip. On average we stay at least 6 days.

I live in washington, and fly out of Portland. Have had my Deluxe AP since 1995. This year i used my AP 16 days, 5 trips total. I work for an airline and fly for free, and book my hotel via the hotels website and often get a $50 a night room rate including breakfast. I use suppershuttle so i do not have to pay to park a car.:woohoo:

I am 280 miles from the "Happiest Place On Earth". Which calculates to a 41/2 to 5 hour drive. I have been an AP for many, many years. There were years that I would get in just about every month. Now that I am an empty nester it's more like 4 to 6 times a year. :tink:

We are now living slightly north of Mexico City and have had passes of some sort ever since D'land started offering that option. When we lived in Los Angeles we were at the park every weekend.

We made a few visits this year and while our visits next year won't be as many, we will still keep our current pass valid.

I'm in Nor Cal, DD16 and I have AP's, we've used them twice since July, she will be using hers again later this month and I'll be using mine at least once more in February. I'm hoping to use it again at least one more time before it expires in July for a total of 4 uses. I have a Premium, DD has a Deluxe. The first 2 years we had APs we used them at least once a month....

I live in the Bay Area so it's about a 6 hour drive to the Happiest Place on Earth. I have been an AP holder for two years now. I have the Premier pass since we went to WDW in August 2011. Used it for 1 lengthy trip to WDW and 6 trips so far to DL. I hope to take a few more trips before it expires at the end of February. Somehow I got a handful of months for free when I upgraded, but I wasn't going to complain.:cool1:

Phoenix here, 6 hour drive. We've had AP's for years until this year. We made about 10-15 trips per year each for 2 or 3 days.

Anyone else feel the massive rise in AP costs is excessive? We had been paying about $200-$250 for DLX AP's for several years (Costco etc.). Can't pay the high costs this year for our family. Its just gotten too expensive. Last trip was March just before our AP's expired.

I have the Premier Pass. I am about 20 minutes from Disneyland, so a whole country from WDW. I get to Disnelyand 1-2 times per month (sometimes more, sometimes less). And generally, there are 1-2 overnight DL visits through the year. And to WDW, at least once a year (for 10 days) and some years twice a year (second trip is generally shorter).
