I got them at zazzle.com and combined with the shirts I am going to make we are going to be styling at the next trip!!! :cool1:

Not sure what they offer @zazzle.com, so I'm going to go look...............
Thanks! :flower:

You can make designs of the characters and add sayings and the kids names.

I ordered two matching Brother Bear shirts that say Brothers bonded by Love and with their names. They are so cute!

Then I got each of them a shirt of their choice, one got Stitch and one got Mickey. And I bought myself a Tinkerbell shirt that says " I know what I want, I want my own way! and another one with Sleeping Beauty that says HRH Her Royal Highness!

I could have made tons more but I stopped at $100!!!

I just made shirts and they came out great. The T-shirts cost me $2.44 each at Micheals and a package of Avery Iron on Transfers at Staples were $23.

This was my first time doing this and they came out great. I can't imagine spending around $20 per shirts for 15 of them. :earseek: :earseek:

It was so easy and inexpensive to do the DSIL is going to make T-shirts for her sons birthday favors.

What is DSIL?

I am making some too, but the ones to order were so cute, I could not resist! I also got some great shirts for $4.99 each yesterday at the Disney store, long and short sleeve!

Would you say the AVery is the best iron on one? I want the shirts I make to last!

Question about zazzle...can you choose your own phrase to add to the shirts or do you have to pick from a list of phrases? :confused3

Thanks!

Hi Disney Aunt- just to let you know, I used the Avery transfers too...the first time you wash it, it will look not so good. Good for a one-time wear, really. I followed all the instructions and washed inside out and it still looked blurry and faded. I was disappointed.

That stinks, I did get the AVery kind today. I have not used it yet and am willing to spend more for them to last.

I also made favors for my ds bday party. We had a bowling party and each child got a shirt with a small bolwing pin in the chest with thier name under it and on the back it said James Birthday Bowling Bash

Mine look Great! The colors are fine. In fact they actually look brighter after I transferred them on the paper. They washed good too.

You have to choose from a list. Each list seems to be specific to the certain character who choose to go on the shirt. I just ordered Christmas sweatshirts for our December cruise. I also ordered lime-green t-shirts for embarkation day!!

I ordered two shirts from zazzle. It was nice to be able to save the shirt creations I liked and go back later to purchase them.

Sorry I meant to answer that yes there are premade phrases, it would have been nice to make my own though.

So now I am torn about the transfer paper. I have the AVERY (btw, how many sheets did you get for $23? I paid $12 and got 12 sheets at Wal-mart) but I asked on another thread and ppl seem to get the best results from something called Gold Seal that you get online? I leave in 17 days and I am freaking because I just want this done

I bought the Avery because I was in a crunch didn't really have time to research them with others or pricing. I bought a package of 18 sheets for light colored shirts for $23 at Staples...it was in the paper aisle. I just picked up another package today because one I get back from Disney I will be making shirts for my nephews birthday party.

The best price I have found for Avery transfer paper is at Walmart. I have had better luck however using the trasfer paper for dark shirts. It seems to be more durable...but more expensive.

So the paper for dark shirts only works on dark shirts right? I got for light shirts as all of our are white.
