Just ordered a new car.

I have had a smart fortwo for 16 months, and i am trading it in for a VW Fox.

Also getting the services included in the price.

Really looking forward to it, had a bit of a panic on as i could not find my V5 for the smart, but have found it now.

Does anyone else drive a VW.

They said 7 to 10 days depending on where it is in the country.

Its great getting a brand new car, but the cost of doing so is not worth it for me.

A six month old one is just as good but much cheaper.

Enjoy it all the same new cars smell nice .

Yes brand new we did get quotes on pre reg ones and they were coming out at the same figure, so thought we might as well get a new one.

Love the smell too,

DD won't be impressed as she sits in the front seat, she will be put back into the rear seats. and she wanted a pink one, (like that is going to happen)

I think thats mainly down to VWs holding their value well, which should help you in future.

I've just bought my third new polo on the trot. DW has a new polo GTi as well and we love them. I had the salesman who sold me all mine look for a six month old one to save a bit of money but even on closed VW dealer auctions it wasn't worth the hassle for the tiny saving made. He ended up selling me a new one for what I would have paid for a six month old one.

He also said that foxes are just selling themselves because they're so reliable and so much better than similar sized cars from other manufacturers.

I nearly got a Polo E, it was a couple of quid more, but decided for the\Fox as it came with electric front windows and central locking.

Yeah, it's great having a new car. My brand new car was delivered on thursday and it's lovely, smells so good although DD's disagree. My DH was hit by a foreign lorry and our car (11 years old) was written off, he was fine, but it meant that I just had to get a new one. The accident was on 1st Nov so I've had a bit of a wait. When it arrived it was chucking it down so I just had to drive (I always walk) down to school in it. Trouble is it's already dirty. It's a BMW 116 so only a little one but it looks just like someone has sat on the 4x4.
