My teenage daughter and I, veterans of both WDW and DLR, will be in Paris next summer. Due to the amount af things we have planned in and around Paris, we will only be spending one day in DLRP. It will likely be Sunday, July 2. Does anyone have a suggested touring plan? We will be there for regular opening (not EMH :-( ) and will likely stay until 8:00ish at night. While I will want to do some of our favorites from the states, (Small World, Pirates, Haunted Mansion...) we want to do the must-dos of DLRP. We will only be doing the original park.

What must we see/do, and what is our most efficient way to do as much as possibly. My daughter will ride anything. I'm more limited because if neck problems, but will wait for her.

I guess that the other side of the coin is, what can we miss?

I don't think we will plan on TS meals due to time constraints. Also, unless there are really unique characters, we probably won't do meet-and-greets.

Thank you!

Do:
  • take in the differences between the parks: the arcades on either side of Main Street are interesting and unique. Don't rush to ride everything and run right through these.
  • Walk around the castle - there is an upstairs AND a dungeon. None of the US parks have this
  • Indiana Jones (not like DLR) - for your daughter, it's a roller coaster
  • Small World
  • Pirates
  • Phantom Manor (Haunted Mansion)
  • Space Mountain (for your daughter - it's very rough on the head and neck)
  • Snow White dark ride - very different from US parks, and creepy
  • Alice's labyrinth - we don't have anything like this
  • Big Thunder
Don't:
  • teacups
  • Buzz Lightyear
  • Carousel
  • Orbitron
  • Dumbo
  • Casey Jr
  • Star Tours
If there's time:
  • Storybook boats
  • Passage of Aladdin
  • Voyage of Pinocchio
Agreed with not bothering with table service and meet and greets. You're going on a Sunday in July of the 25th Anniversary, so it will probably be crowded, but you can probably get everything on my "do" list done. Although, my two favorite rides are actually in the Studios, not Disneyland.

I was there for 3 days in May and had a great time, despite closures and constant rain, so I'm sure you will enjoy it.
