We like the PP pool. I know that others think it is plain, but my kids really like the pool and slide. It might be a great opportunity for your son to try it out! Who knows, you might be going for PP concierge next trip.

DH and I have stayed at PP and liked the rooms but did not like the longer walk....I know it probably it not that much further.....I don't think we would make it back to PP enough to be able to benefit from the concierge offerings. We have done concierge one year at GC when it was $289 per night and that was WONDERFUL. Loved it!!! Haven't seen that good of a rate in a long time so we are just ordering groceries instead.

Ah, that must have been back in Fall 2007 when they were offering incredible AP rates...the good old days.

They are predicting quite a bit of rain all next week through the weekend. It's supposed to be anywhere from 4-8 inches in the LA area and tons more in the mountains, and at least 3 feet of snow.

Sooooo I talked to my BFF and we think we might end up switching to the DLH. She said well part of why we picked the GCH was the pool. Last year we did the pool at DLH! Soooooo...we are having dinner tonight so we will call and see what they say! I just want an updated room there!

Thank you, I am assuming you are looking at the AP website? My email/password stopped working a month ago so I havent been able to look. My AP expires on 1/30 and I am not renewing for next year.

The PP concierge is a good deal. I am having groceries delivered to GC at this point. DH wants to stay put and I am thinking that is probably the best for everyone. As long as we get to use one of the other hotel slide pools it should be ok.

Yes, I looked at the AP site, ours are expired but I can still access it for a while. The girls APs are good until Feb.

Hmmmm, we didn't find the walk that much more, we crossed the street at the GCH and walked thru there.
