I just made our ressie for late Feb. 2004 trip with CRO.

Here's the heads up: Was told that 2004 rates should be in the computer in the next 7 - 10 days. Also she said to check back in about 4 weeks for AAA discounts, they would follow about 2 weeks after 2004 rates are in the computers.

Here's the ?: Our dates are in peak season yet she quoted me the regular season rate for a standard room at BWI. I expressed my surprise at the rate and said I thought it was higher being "peak" season. She acknowledged it was indeed peak season but again quoted a lower rate than I had seen posted on mousesavers. I made a credit card deposit for the first night. It will be interesting to see my confirmation when it comes. What do you make of that? ;)

Well, my Jan '04 ressies fall during value season. When I made them I was quoted the '03 regular season rate since the rates are not yet determined. On my confirmation it clearly states "Rate Not Determined, Rate for 2003 is $480.00" and they do *usually* tell you when you are making your ressie or paying a deposit that the rate will be adjusted once the 2004 rates are out.

HTH!

Yes, you are right about that. She did say the rate would be adjusted when the 2004 rates were posted... I guess I thought since my trip was peak season I'd be put at the 2003 peak season rate for this reservation.

My past experiences have been reguardless of the season you are booking in, the rate they'll give you is the regular season rate. Then, it will either go up or down. :)

darn! Thought I'd lucked into something there! I love that photo of the BWI... makes me glad I booked there again.:D

Thank you so much for the "heads up" on the 2004 rates. I have been waiting for over a year to book our rooms for 2004 and I am waiting until those AAA rates are released to do so. I actually called CRO yesterday and asked if the rates were available yet (before I saw this thread) and although they were not she did have the seasons for next year. Sorry guys all I got was for Regular Season in April....begins on April 18th, 2004, with the subject to change disclaimer. It made my day though knowing we are getting closer to booking our rooms. Now if Song would only lower those April fares..........

Vicb, thanks for the info! I've been on pins and needles waiting for 2004 rates to come out. We're booked for 8/2004.

I booked us at POR for April. cost was $144 per night.
Of course I will snap up any ap passholder discount that comes out nearer the time:D

Wow! Some of you are already booked for 2004? and in Aug?
We are headed back in Oct and I have been trying to determine the rate it will be for then.

Thanks for the heads up on the rates coming out.

This board has been the best for helping me plan everything out.

thanks...

When I initially called CRO in January for info on booking our first ever trip, the CM told me that they can take reservations up to ten years in advance! Oops, didn't mean to divert from the subject. Anyway, I'll be waiting for those AAA rates for 2004 too.:D
