Just noticed while watching Coming to America

That the people who played Eddie Murphy's parents were the voices of Simba's parent's in the original Lion King! Okay, i'll admit, it was Michael who noticed.

His parents were James Earl Jones (Mufasa) and Madge Sinclair (Sarabi). Michael thought it was so cool that they were ALL Disney character voices!

I haven't seen Coming to America in a while! I love most of Eddie Murphy's movies! Was that Arsenio's first movie?

LOL! I wish he was half as good at math! In kindergarten his teacher asked me in a meeting "does he know every actor in every movie that's ever been made?????"

Madge Sinclair was a subject of discussion because Steve Harvey's Show dedicated his show to her. It sparked a discussion and of all the work this amazing actress did in her short life the ONE thing he retained was that she was the voice of the Mom on the Lion King. That was a BIG thing!

Of course James Earl Jones' voice is one he cannot forget and totally admires. His favorite line of all time was said by him and he makes me repeat it all the time. In JEJ's voice! Not hard for a baritone like me!

I realized that JEJ's voice was obviously in The Lion King, but I hadn't realized that Madge Sinclair was as well. Good observation Michael.

Did you realize that Zazu was voiced by Rowan Atkinson (aka Mr. Bean). I had no idea.
