Please...I actually didn't tell my 2 co-worker friends that I made another Disney reservation so soon after my last one (just went Memorial Day weekend and am taking the kids back during fall break in September) until several days afterwards. I knew that they would give me a hard time.
I explained that there are too many good deals out there for Disney this time, me and the kids love going, and why not. It's our vacation. We go for 3 nights at a time and have so much fun. Besides, my kids will only be young for a short amount of time. I'm enjoying Disney with them while they are so young (3 and 6 right now).
Everyone has their favorite vacation spots. For some of us, it's Disney. Too bad so sad for those who don't get that

Oh, that's right MK doesn't have alcohol.
I personally don't under the fasincation to Vegas since I don't drink that much nor do I gamble. While I like the beach, it's not something I want to go to every day for a week. My poor skin can't take that.

Sort of like our Grandparents whispered when they said the word "cancer".

) I try to help my friends plan their trips so they will enjoy them, try to make them understand it takes some research and planning. You can't just go without planning and expect your first trip to be as magical as all of mine. But they don't listen and come back complaining. I admit the more we go to WDW the better it gets because it is easier each year. I always learn something new from every trip.
We have been on other family vacations where I have to research things to do in the are and where to eat a place to stay. Who needs all the hassle.

. I only had the opportunity to go one other time after that. My DH went we he was 4 and didn't remember it. Then it happened we went to Disney on our honeymoon
. I get a few laughs at that too! Went a few more times before we had kids. We started taking our kids when our first was a week shy of a year, people say why take them that young, they won't remember that. You are right they won't, but I will. Disney is the one place on earth that I can go to and totally loose myself in the magic, the smells, the sights. Bills do not matter, work doesn't matter, the outside world doesn't matter. And to me that is what a vacation is. Even when it is so hot and so crowded, we have a great time. Its our special place, we have made and will continue to make wonderful memories there.
