Just need to get this out (Female stuff... update pg14)

I love my PCP but have zero faith in the rest of the army hospital here. Guess I'm about to have a major
trust test with them.

Thoughts and prayers to you Tina.
Is there an option to use your insurance (TriCare?) with non army docs in your area? Might be worth exploring with your PCP. As I'm sure you know, trust in your doctor is so important ...not only from the perspective of the ultimate outcome, but from a mental stress standpoint.

Best of luck

 I hope everything goes well and turns out to be much less serious than you're probably thinking. (Though I understand; I know I would be too!) I'm glad you let us know so we can all be pulling for you. :grouphug:

P.S. - I clean when I'm stressed, too. I totally get it!

Good luck from someone whose daughter had a similar issue at the age of 11. Hers was benign, and I hope you have as positive an outcome.

Awww....Tina. Hang in there. I know it's hard, but try not to let your mind get ahead of you. A couple months back I had a ct scan on my lungs that pointed to my cancer had metastasized to my lungs. The subsequent PET scan showed the same thing. Had the lung biopsy and thankfully, that came back as cancer free. Turns out it's sarcoidosis. Well, you can imagine the mess I was in before getting the biopsy results!
Things may all point to the worse, but until everything comes back, it could be something easily treatable.

Hoping and praying everything goes good for you today!!

You've always kindly supported your Dis friends and now it's pay back time . Know you're in lots of positive thoughts and healing prayers for a positive outcome. Keep the faith and know we're here for you! :flower3:

Good vibes today Tina. I remember when you were having stomache and GI issues.

Good luck to you, and know that thoughts and prayers are coming your way.

I had a hysterectomy a few years ago, and it was the BEST thing I could have had done. I researched, kept careful notes, found a great doctor, had a decent surgery, excellent recovery, and SUPER life since. Keep your "eye on the prize", and know that we're behind you!

Terri

I am sorry to hear that, Tina. My thoughts are with you. (((((hugs)))))

Sending you lots of :hug: and prayers. Linda just gave you some good advice.

I know my mind went lots of places too, but just take it one day at a time.

Hoping you get a good doctor and a good plan in place so you can get feeling like you again!

Wishing you all the best today.

This from here too.:grouphug:

So sorry you're going through this. Praying for best possible results!

Prayers for you with this issue. I hope they make you "better than new" with whatever is decided.

I hope the appointment went well and you left with some direction and answers.
I'm sorry you're dealing with all this...

Dawn

Hugs and prayers that all went well. Hopefully you are on a path to feeling better for the long haul.

I hope they are able to put your mind at ease very soon.

Hi Everyone, thank you all so very much for your notes and thoughts.

I'm back from my doctor and I do love her. She makes me laugh and is also very honest. So in addition to the complex cyst attached to my left ovary, my doctor is concerned about a "substantial" fluid cyst on my right ovary. Basically she thinks if the cyst pops it's going to blow my ovary too. That's a pleasant thought.
She has "expresswayed" me to gyno here on the army post. I will start that process tomorrow and if cannot receive care in a timely manner I will be seen off post.

I cannot tell you how much I do not like the gyno department here and it's not just me. Even my doctor today said she was sorry but had to be done and try to get the lease female cleanser doctor I could get in the department. Now how's that for encouragement? I asked her about further testing for anything to do with the complex mass cyst and the growth on my uterus and she said I would have to wait until I see gyno and that she figures they will take everything out and go from there instead of waiting around for more testing.

So I'm playing the waiting game and the hurry up and wait game. On the bright side I may come out of surgery 20lbs less after taking all these crappy broken parts and growths out ;-)

Thank you all again for your words of encouragement. I'm sure I'll be back as I'm just going to hold off telling anyone until I get a better idea of when or how or what after seeing the next doctor. I do appreciate ya'll.
