Thrilled to hear your no cancer news. That is truly amazing with what you have been through and told. I can totally understand the hysterectomy roller coaster of emotions. We went through 10 years of infertility before our DS was born and went through the emotions of most probably not having my own child. You have a wonderful and supportive husband. It would be great if you got an answer to prayers (again I know after the no cancer diagnosis) and got pregnant before you had the hysterectomy in a few months. We'll just keep praying for His will. I'm sorry about your baby dreams being dashed, but let me tell you, as a mother who has carried and given birth, yes my children are everything to me, however, having been a paraeducator and worked very closely for years with the same students, I could have taken any of them into my home and I would have instantly felt the same love for them that I do for my own children.
