Ok, so I have read many PTR's and TR's here and I thought that I would give it a shot. I just hope that I can make mine as interesting as the rest of them.
What I have so far.
The Cast:
Me (James) 33 y/o, lived out east until about 12 years ago,divorced about a year ago, DVC member (own at SSR and AKV) I was a late Disney bloomer, I just did not get into it until I saw the reactions of my kids.
DD Will be 8 when we go, she is a princess and a 100% DADDY's girl, she has been to WDW 7 times and DLR to many times to count. Favorite rides include EE, ToT, and BTMRR. She will ride anything and everything!!!
DS 6, He is no doubt going to miss his mommy on this trip, favorite rides incluse POTC, BTMRR. and IASW. Hoping to add EE.
The flight, we leave L.A. at 1045pm on November 7th and arrive in Orlando at 630 am on the 8th. I have traveled a lot with the kids and I have realized that red-eyes are the way to go when we head back east. Its a direct flight so I am hoping that they will get some sleep!!!
The Plan:
We are staying at AKV in a 2BR villa, I know that is a lot of room for one adult and 2 kids, but I travel a lot and I really like my space to relax on vacation. Plus, it gives the kids a place to unwind when we get back from the parks and I can do laundry right in the villa (yes, men do laundry). We check in on the 8th and out on the 15th. Then on to the surprise, something the kids don't know and have always wanted to do.......
We are going on the DCL on the 15th for a 4 day cruise. I have cruised a couple of time but never on DCL. The kids watch The Travel Channel shows about DCL and have always wanted to go. I am in the military and I got a killer deal that I just could not pass up.
Coming up.... Where to eat and the first time booking ADR's online!!!
