Car Return to DCL Bus

We are traveling from Massachusetts and staying at Margaritaville for a few non Disney days before the cruise. We will have a rental. Is it far from the rental return in Terminal B to get to the bus for the cruise? My husband requires a wheelchair and we also rented a scooter for the entire trip. My plan is for him to return the car, and he will drive the scooter from rental area to bus area, and I will push wheelchair with the suitcase on it. We will be a sight . He is transferring from scooter to wheelchair when we check in at the bus and the bus will take the scooter and luggage. DCL confirmed they can transfer the scooter and my husband will stay in the wheelchair on the bus, as he will have trouble up the bus stairs and walking to a seat. Post cruise we are staying at Boardwalk for Food and Wine, so I Understand the bus on that end.

Is the car return right across from the bus, so we don’t have to travel far with everything? Just worried because it will be a lot for my husband no matter what, and I want to remove my stress over figuring it out on the fly.

DCL buses meet in Terminal B. So, if you're returning to rental return in Terminal B, it shouldn't be too far. The rental car drop off is in the parking structure adjacent to the terminal, but there are ramps and elevators to get you back to the main buildling.

Be sure you return at Terminal B, not terminal A. That would be a hike as you'd have to cross the entire main terminal building.
