Just made Tkyes caramels

Just wanted to let everyone know how yummy these caramels are. She was kind enough to post the recipe on the cooking boards so I thought I would give it a whirl~ and boy am I glad these are awesome. Thanks for the great recipe Tykes.

Ok, here's a dumb question. I am not a candy maker, but might gives these caramels a try.

Can you buy the little wrappers or did you cut up the wax paper yourself?

I'm glad you liked them Whirlsy! They are a family favorite in our house. I make 4 batches every Christmas to give out as gifts.

Herc - I saw some pre-cut caramel wrappers at a local candy store. You would have to go to a specialty store like that to find them. It's not as time consuming as you might think to cut the wrappers though. I just layer a few sheets of wax paper and then cut out the squares, it goes pretty quickly.
