I have read that these two restaurants are nice to eat at, and we fancy doing something a bit different this year. Has anyone pos or neg comments. Thanks Nicky

Mmmm, Boma...YUM!!
We loved it. The selection at the buffet was great - huge choice and the quality was good. If you're keen to get the chance to try different things then you'll love it. My favourites were the prime rib and the zebra domes for dessert!!
Haven't got round to trying O'Hana's yet.

Boma is LOVELY!! They do have slightly different menus on different days though (where some of the main courses vary). We love the flank steak so always go on a Friday or Tuesday!

Ohana can be hit and miss, purely as its fairly hard to get a consistant run of decent meat I think. We have had one fantastic meal here and one mediocre meal. The starter platter is very yummy though. If you do not eat steak rare, then you will need to ask for it to be cooked through, as what is served on the skewer is often only one step up from alive (or conversely, cremated to a husk). Check what bit you get (DH nearly fainted last year when he cut into his piece and about a pint of blood ran out). They will happily cook it for you in the kitchen.

We're going to Boma's too and Jiko's which looks lovely. Went to Ohana's years ago and didn't like it at all so have never been back. We haven't booked too many ADR's as it should be fairly easy to get what we want and haven't decided too much as yet, but are going to California Grill on Sat 24th in time for Wishes.

Boma and Ohana are 2 of our favorite meals at wdw.

we have eaten at both.. gosh.. over 10/15 times I would think.. (well Boma.. maybe nearer 10 x!)

we have never had a bad meal at either. the meat at Ohana is superb.. and great if you are controlling carbs! The banana bread (Not good for controlling carbs is completely delicious!!!)

Highly recommend both!!
