I got up this morning to make my ADR's for September 20 - 24th. I told him that I wanted to make reservations for this time period, and that I had my hotel confirmation number. He said that he didn't need it, that they didn't have a way to check that information. I then went on and made my ressies. One of them, Le Cellier for lunch, I had asked for noon and all they had was 11:30 or 12:50 - I was a little surprised by that!

I called back b/c I forgot to make a couple. The CM this time, told me that I couldn't make them for anything other than the 20th. I told her that I was staying on property, arriving the 20th. She asked me for my reservation number and then put me on hold. I was able to make the reservations after that. I was surprised that she asked me where I was staying after she put me on hold - like she might not have checked that reservation number.

Just thought I would share for those of you needing to make ADR's.

I wouldn't be. Disney doesn't necessarily open up all the slots for a meal at the 180 day point. They may hold some slots back and make them available later.

I just called this morning and made my ADRs as well. Our visit is Aug 18-27 so we are about 5 months out. I was able to get Chef Mickeys, Crystal Palace & Rainforest Cafe close to the times I wanted. When I tried to make dinner plans for Le Cellier, the only time I could get was 4:20 or 8:30. I had her check every day during our trip and the same story every day. I thought I was planning way ahead of time but I guess you really need to call 180 days ahead to get the popular restaurants. What do people do who wait until the last minute or have no idea about calling ahead 6 months in advance??? It's crazy. I guess they end up eating at counter service places all trip.

I very rarely remember to make ad at the 180 mark but usually end up eating at all the restuarants we want to try on that trip. of course not always at our first choice of time but we're usually pretty flexible so i'm sure that helps.

We are going in the first week of May and just made our ADs for LeCellar, LTT, Cape May, and San Angels (after reading the reviews I might add Rose & Crown)

We are visiting for the first time during a high season this year (Thanksgiving) so I have Large Notes Written on ALL my calendars in May reminding me to call and make AD's for the week....i'll probably still forget :confused3

I also made my ADRs for a stay 9/20-9/25 getting right through at 7:01 this morning. I got a very helpful woman on the phone and was truly surprised that I got CRT Lunch on the day I really wanted it (9/22), I even had two choices of seating times. I was SO excited!!

Then I went on to make 4 other ADRs (Whispering Canyon, Alfredo's, 50's Prime Time, and Chef Mickey's), all for my preferred seating time.

We're using the DDP, so I could make the CRT ressie w/ just a CC guarantee, didn't have to prepay which was a bonus. Will end up paying OOP for the Whispering Canyon meal, using my DDE card.

Gotta love the off-season :)
